    It sure seems like both JD and Len are getting little subtle digs at Castro the last few days. JD got a "he took a moment to admire it" shot in there just now.

    How pissed are you if you're one of the Jackie Robinson HS players, you run out onto Wrigley to have a baseball signed and instead of Rizzo you have Valaika?

    It was posted in the Theo thread earlier this week that he mentioned Ramirez may be a starter option for next season. Agree or disagree with that plan, but stretching out Ramirez would open up a spot for Vizcaino at the back of the pen. Olt should get a chance to see if he can build any offseason trade value IMO.

    If the bears weren't so overloaded at DE, I'd say sign him. He looked good in the preseason, plus he seems like real good interview. If nothing else SEC Network should look into bringing him in as an analyst. Are you suggesting that Booger McFarland was not insightful this past weekend?

    People who hate the SEC do that every year whether it's accurate or not, but I think it's likely accurate this year. Unless it was just massive kinks that South Carolina and LSU need to work out. And it could be that the SEC isn't that great for the first half of the year and then blows up in the second half. There's a massive amount of fantastic young talent in the SEC this year. It's all dependent upon these 1st year QBs to show up. If they do the league will be right back there.

    Auburn's D playing horribly or Arkansas just having the best running game in the conference? The game turned when Auburn started putting 9 in the box and Arkansas didn't even look to stretch the field, probably because we don't have the speed to do so. Auburn/Bama and AU/Georgia are going to be great games, but the Ole Miss and aTm games are going to be wild.

    I am thinking after today that the SEC will be down this year. I thought Bama and LSU might be reloading this year and it appears that it may be true. I think some of the lower teams like Ark, MSU and TN are better this season but the SEC is not as strong at the top, unless Georgia or someone surprises everybody.

    HAHAHAHAHA. Who had Soler as their pick for best of the first wave? Unless you count Bryant and/or Russell in the first wave then it's TBD. Not that it was based on me being actually informed, but he's always been my jam outside of injury fears. I was always thinking Javy, while irrationally rooting for Alcantara to become the player I wanted Dunston to be. Since the wave of call ups my new guy is Russell.

    Who cares where they play? If Russell is a better piece than Castro, Baez or whoever then you keep him and let KB move to LF. On that note, I remember early Theo speak when he spoke about developing of players with more versatility. It certainly gives them more options.

    How exactly does one get treated like a slave in the coach's office? I am pretty sure it would be a violation if Sarkisian gave him compensation.

    Damn, Soler makes great contact. The ball just carries off his bat. His stance is interesting with that front foot so far back behind him. I've been trying to find a comp but not seeing anything yet.

    Mt Pleasant? I went to culinary school in Charleston. What a great town. You guys will have no problem with aTm. Yeah, I grew up in the Columbia area and went to school there, but moved to the Charleston area after college. We love it here. If we can't handle A&M at home with ease, it's going to be a long season. I lived there for 3 years, as broke as I ever was in my life so I hung out at the beach a lot. After that I moved to Charlotte for a year, and found it to be the most generic, sterile, boring place on Earth. Everything was built in the last 20 years and there was zero culture.
