    A win tonight and all of a sudden the Bulls have the best record in the Eastern Conference. Big week this week.

    My optimistic thought is that hopefully the Bears got all the suck cleaned out of them tonight.

    Well, this is a week to work on formations, try some plays, but they really aren't playing well regardless.

    Are you kidding me? You are basing this off of one game. Look at the stats on the year. 10 of the 16 AFC teams had records of 4-0 or 3-1 against the NFC this year and two others had records of 2-2. Only 1 NFC team (Dallas) had a record over .500 against the AFC this year while 8 had records of 2-2. New Orleans went 1-3. So did Philly and the NY Giants. Chicago and Seattle both went 2-2. That means the six NFC playoff teams went 8-14 against the AFC. The six AFC playoff teams? Try 21-3. The Bears played even with New England at New England with Rex having an awful game. I don't think it's a stretch to say the Bears are right there with Indy and New England. The Jets and Chiefs are really not that good. New Orleans and Philly have certainly played better than both of them over the course of this year. Seattle and Dallas are right there with them. But who else? Denver? No better than any 8-8/7-8 NFC team. Cincy and Jacksonville? Most inconsistent teams in the league. Tennessee? Not a very good team, just a very fortunate team.

    Manning and Manning are really dragging down the whole defense right now.

    BTW, anyone who saw that game and still thinks the best of the NFC would be middle-of-the-pack in the AFC is simply blind. San Diego and Baltimore are certainly favorites, but I would put Chicago certainly right there with Indy and New England, and I think for sure that Philly and New Orleans are better than any of the rest of the AFC, and possibly Seattle as well.

    And Denver blows their playoff spot at home to SF to end their season. AFC Playoffs: Kansas City at Indianapolis NY Jets at New England

    Wasn't pretty, but it was good. Kansas City gets their miracle.

    Indy wraps up the 3 seed, barely. Just waiting on the Denver result to see whether the matchups are Indy-NY Jets and New England-Denver, or Indy-KC and New England-NY Jets.

    Denver trailing 23-16 now with 6 minutes to play. A KC-Indy matchup would be...high scoring.

    San Diego win clinches them the AFC homefield advantage. Baltimore win clinches them the 2 seed and a first round bye. Indy, New England, Denver, NY Jets, and Kansas City still paying attention to what's happening.

    Strength of schedule is the first tiebreaker in draft order, followed by division and conference record. Then coin flip. EDIT: Cleveland is the 3rd pick.

    Tennessee loses, so it's down to 2 scenarios, and only the Denver/San Francisco game has meaning in terns of playoff teams. Still a bunch of seeding to be straightened out in the AFC, though.

    Heh, a KC team left for dead 2 weeks ago is starting to look pretty good for a playoff spot. Even this week, they needed Cincy, Denver, and Tennessee to lose, and they needed to beat Jacksonville. Now all they need is for NE to hold on for 2 minutes, and for Denver to lose.

    Wildcard weekend for the NFC: Dallas at Seattle, New York at Philadelphia. Bears will play the Giants if they win, or (more likely) the Dallas/Seattle winner.

    KC's win keeps them and Tennessee alive. Dallas loss locks up the NFC playoff picture. Wildcard weekend: NY Giants at Philadelphia, Dallas at Seattle. Bears will play either the Giants (if they win) or the Dallas/Seattle winner (more likely).

    The Jets' win clinches them a playoff berth and eliminates Jacksonville. The Panthers win coupled with the Houston win eliminates Green Bay.

    Wow, the Atlantic division could feasibly have 5 of the 8 worst NBA teams (Atlanta, Charlotte, Memphis). Nobody in the Atlantic can beat anyone outside their own division.

    I hear Green Bay has this QB that likely isn't retiring tomorrow. I won't mention names now because we're sure to hear it plenty tomorrow.

    Giants win (finally), eliminating the Rams, Panthers, and Falcons. Packers now need the miracle scenario to win. That's a lot of scoreboard watching, Pack fans.

    Big win tonight with a tough week coming up with Phoenix, NJ, and Detroit.

    15 for 19 shooting for Deng tonight, all 2's. Matched LeBron's output tonight, at the least. Bulls have the most wins in the Eastern Conference now. Still 2 more losses than Detroit, though. EDIT: Also 16-4 in the Eastern Conference, which is awesome.
