  1. Cincinnati eliminated with a loss to the Steelers.
  2. Fumble Romo. He's so creative with the football.
  3. The Jets' win clinches them a playoff berth and eliminates Jacksonville. The Panthers win coupled with the Houston win eliminates Green Bay.
  4. Wow, the Atlantic division could feasibly have 5 of the 8 worst NBA teams (Atlanta, Charlotte, Memphis). Nobody in the Atlantic can beat anyone outside their own division.
  5. I hear Green Bay has this QB that likely isn't retiring tomorrow. I won't mention names now because we're sure to hear it plenty tomorrow.
  6. Giants win (finally), eliminating the Rams, Panthers, and Falcons. Packers now need the miracle scenario to win. That's a lot of scoreboard watching, Pack fans.
  7. Big win tonight with a tough week coming up with Phoenix, NJ, and Detroit.
  8. 15 for 19 shooting for Deng tonight, all 2's. Matched LeBron's output tonight, at the least. Bulls have the most wins in the Eastern Conference now. Still 2 more losses than Detroit, though. EDIT: Also 16-4 in the Eastern Conference, which is awesome.
  9. Redskins making a game of it anyway...
  10. It looks quite clear that Mizzou's "Go Giants" cheer is what inspired them to this beatdown...
  11. Technically, they'd need to win by 79. However, it would never get to that tiebreak.
  12. Go Giants? That can't be good for the Rams. :)
  13. I got 30 on BC, 32 on Texas, and 28 on VT today, so if things don't go well, that would be about it for my chances. :)
  14. 4th and 50. Don't see that every day.
  15. Wow, that was about the worst drop I've ever seen by that SC WR. He was wide open, and the throw was right to him.
  16. Yeah, pretty much. Technically, the most important SOV games are Detroit and Minnesota, since they count triple for the Packers (an opponent they beat twice over an opponent the Giants beat). I think if just one of the other games goes the Giants way (say...Arizona/San Diego), it'll be too close to call, even maybe a tie.
  17. What happened to the Clemson team from earlier in the year? Man, they just can't do anything right.
  18. There is an actual scenario that will let Green Bay win strength of victory, even if the Giants and Packers both win. This would then be what needs to happen (ALL OF IT): - Detoit defeats Dallas - Minnesota defeats St. Louis - Arizona defeats San Diego - San Francisco defeats Denver - Miami defeats Indianapolis - New Orleans defeats Carolina - Cleveland defeats Houston - Tampa Bay defeats Seattle So, as long as all that happens, if the Giants win tomorrow, there's still something to watch for.
  19. Maybe it's the mood I'm in today, but I found that hilarious.
  20. I nearly doubled my points today, what with 20+ on Cal, 31 on Rutgers, and 13 on OK State.
  21. I have 31 on Rutgers, so that game pretty much makes or breaks my picks.
  22. Updated for all Week 17 scenarios. The Giants, Jets and Broncos all control their own destiny, as they are all in with a win. The Green Bay strength of victory scenario can't happen. Even if every game goes Green Bay's way in terms of strength of victory (i.e. every team they beat wins and every non-common Giant opponent loses), the Giants will still win strength of victory by a considerable margin. So the Packers need the Giants to lose.
  23. Philly is still the team that concerns me most in the NFC. I don't mean to sound arrogant, but I really do believe the Bears are significantly better than the rest of the NFC this year. I base this on my belief that there are 4 teams capable of winning the Super Bowl this year, and the Bears are the only one in the NFC (Chargers, Ravens, Patriots). Jacksonville would have been a tough out in the playoffs, but they need a nigh miracle to sneak in at this point.
  24. I really doubt they'll move it to Sunday night, because by the time the game would be played, it could be completely meaningless. With the Philly win tonight, my guess would be Philadelphia/Atlanta, since that game has meaning no matter what happens earlier in the day.
  25. Updated for the Dallas/Philadelphia game. Chicago is the 1 seed, New Orleans is the 2 seed, Seattle is the 4 seed, and Dallas and Philly are the 3/5 seeds, with Philly owning the tiebreaker. Winner gets the leftover playoff team, loser goes to Seattle. Oh, and technically, Green Bay could make the playoffs even if the Giants win if somehow they overtook them in strength of victory. Which they won't, considering the huge gap between them, even with the Packers playing the Bears.
