  1. How about a goal line stand.
  2. Neither Cutler nor Rodgers has been throwing anything other than short balls with any kind of accuracy today.
  3. This game looks like two teams playing without any sort of urgency. Apparently nobody told one of them that they need to win this one.
  4. Because his fingers are solid objects, and as such, make it difficult for things such as footballs to pass through them.
  5. I dont know why he's been used so much. Then again I havent seen Earl Bennett out today. I know Earl was on the injury report, did he sit and Shied is replacing him? Yes.
  6. I have to think the constant throwing to Davis is likely on purpose.
  7. Really, the Bears have been ultra-conservative on offense in the first half, and still lead by 3. High percentage short passes and rushes. Defensively, though, they've played really well.
  8. That wasn't even a trick play or anything. Hawk just came up the middle between Kreutz and Williams and both ignored him.
  9. y'all just need to take care of your own business. Quit crying about the Aints. True. There's something wrong with us when I'm not confident in a "win and in" situation. Especially when the biggest concern for your opponent is not getting its QB killed.
  10. Weird, the Bears were the last team this year to beat the Lions. They finish the year beating the Packers, Bucs, Dolphins and Vikings.
  11. Even if Atlanta had lost, though, there would have been no chance the Bears played the Packers in the second round.
  12. Carolina tried an onside kick after getting a FG, because, hey, why not.
  13. Hopes are beginning to increase that the Bears can focus on the line in the first round or two and still be able to grab an impact WR later.
  14. Because Pittsburgh has almost constantly been in the red zone this game?
  15. It is impossible for the Bears to play the Packers in the second round. I know. Thats why I said some were just about impossible or in this case impossible. I just wanted to list all the playoff or potential playoff teams. What of the Giants?
  16. It is impossible for the Bears to play the Packers in the second round.
  17. They played pretty well against Milwaukee early this week, and last week absolutely killed Philly. The truth is, they aren't playing anyone half decent, and the effort is likely related to that. Pretty well against Milwaukee? We played a good first quarter then scored 10 points in the 2nd and were losing at halftime. The Bulls were only up 2 with about 8 minutes left before dominating the last 8 minutes and winning by 13. An effort that wouldnt cause any alarm unless its surrounded by several similar performances. I don't mind it all that much since they are winning, and are like 7-8 games up in the division. I am assuming we're gonna end up the 3rd or 4th seed in the East, and it will be nearly impossible to drop below that, so I guess these games aren't super meaningful. Against Milwaukee, the Bulls played well in 3 of the 4 quarters and won going away against one of the best defensive teams in the East. I'd say that counts as playing pretty well overall.
  18. Tonight the offense was there through 3 quarters. Defense was off the first half, though.
  19. Not this year, no.

  21. The Bulls played hard tonight for about 8 minutes, and won by 9. They're not going to play well every night, and they don't have to play well to win games like this. Really, the only game this year the Bulls coasted and it cost them was the Clippers game.
  22. Don't forget about Nebraska. They lost to a team whose quarterback completed five passes. Nebraska didn't play in that bowl game.
  23. Odd that you say that on a night they shot 78% from the FT line.
  24. Also, unless Ohio State absolutely blasts Arkansas, I can safely say that nobody saw Illinois being the most impressive Big Ten bowl team.
  25. I think more surprising even than how bad the names were was how Big Ten officials had no clue the public wouldn't like them.
