    That is true, they haven't addressed 7 needs with 4 picks, but they have addressed 4 needs with 4 picks.

    I will say the Bears are addressing needs with their draft picks.

    On the other end of the Athletic, Robert Mays, Nate Tice and Dane Brugler were doing their live draft video during the draft. Mays is a noted Bears fan, and here's the video starting from the spot where the Bears pick comes in:

    Lions GM needs to take his team off autodraft fast here.

    So the Lions needed a CB having just traded one high pick CB away, were projected to take Gonzalez at 6, traded down to 12, took a RB at 12 that in all likelihood would have been there at 18 and they didn't really need, and then didn't get Gonzalez at 18. Good night for the Lions.

    Here are my top 5 targets at 9, in order: 1. Will Anderson, EDGE, Alabama (he won't fall to 9 unless something weird happens) 2. Jalen Carter, DE, Georgia (he may fall here after his lackluster combine, would be a shame to pass on him if he gets to 9) 3. Tyree Wilson, EDGE, Texas Tech 4. Devon Witherspoon, CB, Illinois (bias but love the idea of locking down opposing passing offenses) 5. Paris Johnson, OL, Ohio State (I like this as a better option than Skoronski here, Bears need an upgrade at tackle more than guard, even if Skoronski will be a great guard) If all 5 are off the board, I'd be disappointed, but Skoronski, Gonzalez (CB, Oregon), or Smith-Nigba (WR Ohio State) would be acceptable, but I'd wonder if it were possible to trade down, gain picks, and still get one of those guys 3-5 picks later.

    Didn't the Bears lead the NFL in rushing yards per game, and average yards per rush?

    Bulls and Bucks won the same amount of playoff games this year. Rousing success.

    I think the Bears are going to end up with several blue chip options at 9, especially if 4 QBs are drafted in the top 8. They can't go wrong with any of the #1 options at DE, DT or CB, and if for some reason all those options are gone, there's still two #1 OT options that could be drafted there, or trade down further for quantity, since they need several options at all 4 of those positions to fill out the team.

    But we don't even soccer up our soccer. Though MLS is starting to get big enough where it could be split into MLS tier 1 and MLS tier 2 with promotion/relegation between the tiers. It would be a good testing ground for the system on US soil, but also potentially torpedo MLS interest in half the country.

    Was at the game today, noticeably fast with the pitch clock, kids didn't get bored during innings, only real downer was that we were in the shade with the wind in our face, which made it feel 10 degrees out there. Only takeaway from the game was my 5yo referring to the Cubs RF as "Miles Easterbunny" which we then repeated throughout the game and spread to nearby fans.

    The 8 spot is really the key in that group. Get 8th and you have 2 chances to win one game to make a playoff series. Get 9th or 10th and you have 1 chance to win 2 games to make a playoff series.
