    Denver and Arizona both off to good starts in their games, such that the Bears could still end the day with the #2 pick.

    Correction, the Browns converted on 4th and goal from the 1, so they are also a winning team as of now.

    The Bears schedule will continue to be pillow soft, as their only remaining games against winning teams will be against the Lions. They're 2-5 with the 4th worst record in the NFL, but still have a feasible path to a playoff spot in the NFC if they can beat the bad teams on their schedule. They won't beat out the 49ers, Eagles, Lions or Cowboys, but there are still 2 wildcard spots up for grabs in a conference where at least half the conference seems to be trying to be terrible.

    Raiders taking their timeouts to extend the game is odd when they're down 8 possessions like they are now.

    Fortunately, the season opening 5 game road trip is over, so they can finally come home and relax against...*checks notes*...Vegas and Boston.

    I think Boston was the better team tonight.

    Short turnaround for tonight's game in Boston against a Bruins team that was last seen rendering their record setting regular season meaningless in round 1 against Florida. I'm curious whether tonight will be a case of tired legs after a back to back or a fast start with a game of experience under their belt (or both!). Would be nice to see a Bedard goal tonight, but as longa s he keeps being the most dangerous guy on the ice offensively it's a fun watch.

    Blackhawks win their season opener for the first time since 2018.

    Should be a fun offensive battle between the top two passing QBs in the NFL this season.

    Oddly enough, I think the Vikings overall are a better team now than they were last year, they just haven't been near as lucky. With no Jefferson, it should be an easier assignment for the defense, but there is no such thing as an easy assignment for this defense. If Fields can throw for another 4 TDs, the Bears can win.

    This feels like one of those NFL years where there are like 4-5 really good teams and the rest of the league is just fodder. Going by team DVOA, the 49ers, Bills, Lions, Dolphins, Eagles, Chiefs and Ravens have effectively lapped the field on efficiency, with the Seahawks, Saints, Jaguars and Browns the next up, each being below average at one of the 3 facets of football (offense, defense, special teams). I currently have no idea who the bottom half of the playoffs will be in each league, and I don't think it matters thus far.

    Bedard is already the best Hawks player on the ice every time he touches it. He's already the focus of opposing defenses, so much that he's had several assists to wide open players due to the entire opposing team focusing on him. Unfortunately, other than Bedard and Taylor Hall, it's a bad roster and will probably finish bottom 5 in the NHL overall.

    Last night's win improves the Bears record cs Washington to 5-16 since the 85 Super Bowl winner. Feels like the Bears always lose to these clowns.

    DJ Moore has 531 receiving yards this season through 5 games. This is more than any Bears receiver had in all of 2022.

    That pass interference was so obvious Al Michaels was laughing about it.
