    Not a good sign for Landry Fields that Billups didn't play a second and he still only got 15 minutes of game time. Roger Mason Jr got more. If only the Knicks understood how much better a guard he is than Derrick Rose...

    Fukudome's wife is having a baby. with a Cincinatti loss and a Chicago win, Cubs can be tied for the Division lead. On the glass-half-empty side, the Cubs are also in striking distance of fifth place. On the glass-is-still-brand-new side, the season is 2 weeks old.

That would require the Cubs to win back-to-back games, which they haven't done yet this year. They're still at .500, though, which also indicates they haven't lost back-to-back much this year either.

    The way I saw it, Fuld was well behind Colvin and Jackson for major league duty, and the Cubs actually used what value he had to contribute to the Garza deal. Obviously, Tampa wanted him for some reason.

    I'm curious how much of the offensive rebounding for the Bulls is a result of the Pacers bigs making a point to keep Rose as far away from the basket as possible. When they're focused on Rose, it's much easier for Boozer/Noah/Gibson/Thomas/Asik (did he play yesterday?) to get position for offensive rebounds.

    It really seems like they're coasting, which I never thought I'd see from this team. It also goes back a good 3-4 weeks, aside from the Atlanta and Boston games. And yet they're 16-1 in the stretch, so I'm not sure what to be upset about.

    Yeah, the other weird argument I've been hearing is that this is how the Bulls played all year, we just never noticed. Which would make more sense if they didn't have the second highest scoring margin in the NBA. The reality is, in game 1 the Bulls didn't play well defensively (and the Pacers hit a high percentage of generally low percentage shots). In game 2, the Bulls didn't play well offensively (couldn't shoot, couldn't protect the ball). Maybe next game they can get more assists than turnovers. That'd be a good start.

    In reality, 22 turnovers goes a long way towards keeping the opponent in the game as long as possible. In near the same way that 57 rebounds goes a long way towards keeping your team in the game.

    Kendall Gill cautioning the Bulls not to get too overconfident heading into game 3. Maybe I'm naive, but I don't see that being a problem.

    And a horrendous one from Noah. Do these guys ever play well together? Only for maybe 3-4 games this year. Although between injuries, I think they played together a total of about 15 games. I have to like their chances if each pulls down 15 rebounds, though. Noah hasn't been able to click offensively with Boozer around all year. Nice pass to Korver at the end, though (Why was Korver's man leaving to cover Noah on a drive?).

    Also, Boozer had a quietly solid game tonight, at least offensively.

    Oh, and just like I didn't think Hansbrough would shoot 70% from range all series, he likewise won't shoot 15% from range all series.

    Team assist-to-TO ratio: not good. Hell, Rose's 1:1 ratio was comparatively good.
