  1. As frustrating as most of the game was, I did laugh briefly... http://oi56.tinypic.com/smdcvr.jpg
  2. Speaking of which, did you watch the thunder-heat game? They did one of those 'LISTEN INTO THE HUDDLE' things and Brooks goes "PLAY HARD. PLAY GOOD DEFENSE. DON'T LET YOUR MAN SCORE." Very inspiring stuff. It's innovative. If everybody did what he said, they can't lose!
  3. Think about the positives, folks. The quieter the Illinois folks are in this thread, the better they look. Everybody wins.
  4. Ahh, right. With all the games over the past month, I forgot that one actually happened.
  5. When was the last time the Bulls allowed 100+ and won?
  6. I think that was a record 8 seconds on the bandwagon.
  7. At least his RA/O ratio was less than one today.
  8. The best thing you can say about Silva is that he throws a lot of strikes. Similar to the nice things you can say about batting machines.
  9. Bilas's twitter feed is hilarious this week, though.
  10. Looks like Silva is already in midseason form.
  11. I've always liked the idea that Gus should just be in the studio at the ready when a game is close in the last 5 minutes.
  12. So are the higher seeds. Them's some mad pickin' skills.
  13. Michigan is the first team in NCAA tournament history to win a game without making a free throw.
  14. Or Tennessee was just bad, or just plain quit.
  15. This actually has a decent chance to be Michigan's biggest margin of victory all year.
  16. Apparently Michigan discovered that practically the entire Big Ten schedule is tougher than this game today.
  17. The Bulls are actually #1 in Hollinger's ratings now, and have a greater than 25% chance to win it all. Every week I assume the Bulls have hit their high water mark for those ratings, and they keep doing better.
  18. Someone in our bracket group was 15 of 16 yesterday, and lost their national champion.
  19. CL quarters draw: Spurs-Real Madrid Barca-Shakhtar Donetsk Chelsea-Man U Inter-Schalke
  20. Oh, please, that's not what you're doing. You chime in after every bad shooting game saying he has no business even trying to shoot 3's, and are completely silent when he has a good game. You act as if he's killing the team with his shot selection, which is just factually baseless.
  21. Don't forget Carmelo and Durant, too.
  22. You're right, they'd never beat a decent team, especially on the road, with a shooting night like that. yes because winning one game in the regular season is exactly the same as beating a team 4 out of 7 times in the postseason great post You specifically asked if they could beat boston/miami/orlando with Rose going 8-21 or similar...and he and they did exactly that against both Orlando and Miami this year. The Bulls have been absolutely cruising for 4 solid months now, so I think you're just begging for something to bitch about. Go for it, if you want to choose to be ignorant about things.
  23. You're right, they'd never beat a decent team, especially on the road, with a shooting night like that.
  24. Apparently Rose needs to stop trying to shoot 3's, because it's been absolutely killing the team since the All-Star break.
  25. his fg% dropped below 44% tonight (now .438) i'm officially worried, even though everyone seems to want to pretend that he hasn't been horribly inefficient for a while now. also, 0-5 from 3 again. Yeah, because everyone's pretending he's been super efficient the last month. That's the argument I can't read enough of everywhere.
