Mizzou scheduled Illinois, ODU and Villanova, all on the road. Really pisses me off. and 2/3 of those teams sucked. The other is a good midmajor. Missouri clearly should've known that those traditional tournament teams were going to be bad this year when they were scheduled a year ago. In fairness to Missouri, Illinois was a top 20 team when they played them. They couldn't know that they'd quit in January either.

Yep, and they were on the 13 seed line, too, so they totally got bumped for the BYU rule.

Two of the 76 brackets on the Bracket Matrix correctly picked all the teams. Seven had Iona.

Yeah Missouri's RPI really killed them. Should've scheduled Arkansas Little-Rock and Bowling Green instead of Kennesaw State and William & Mary. Thankfully they've received that message loud and clear and can avoid it next time. Never said it was right, just that it was the only outlier among the top 8 teams.

Ten bucks says that second play-in game is a 14 seed because of the BYU rule. Either the committee totally forgot about it until the last second, or that was the only way they could make it work.

Yep missed on Miami. Overall, though, this may have been the best year yet. We missed one team, and were off by more than two seeds just twice, with Creighton and New Mexico.

Funny, the Easy Bubble Solver had Iona in (just add a team's RPI and KenPom rating, lowest 37 at large options are in).

I'm actually not bothered by it a ton. Back of the bubble really sucks, and I don't have a problem with rewarding a smaller conference team that had a great regular season. I mean, as long as it's costing Miami/NC State/S Florida/Seton Hall, that is.
