Assuming overall NCAA talent is the same year-in, year-out is a huge assumption. If anything, I'd argue that NCAA talent was as high as it's been in years this year, due to fewer students declaring because of the lockout scare. 2008 was certainly one of the more top-heavy years in recent memory (along with this year, IMO), which makes Kansas's accomplishment within the tourney even more impressive. I have no problem with the draft continuing, now that it's where it's at. The only issue was with people getting frustrated about people being done and not saying anything about it.

If there's not going to be a fourth round, let's at least hold off on the free for all until the waiver process is set up.
