  1. And MSU's the 3. Clark - "Memphis, the first team out of Conference USA" Yeah, the first team...
  2. Duke a 2 seed to Louisville's 1...that's rough.
  3. Team that gets in undeservedly: Virginia/Baylor Team that inexplicably gets left out: Boise State/Wichita State Teams that will get overseeded: Memphis, Mississippi Teams that will get underseeded: Creighton, Florida
  4. Shocker, Steve Alford loves the RPI.
  5. I mean, if you can't hold a grudge against a guy for something he did half a lifetime ago and made reparations for it, where do you draw the line?
  6. I think we're off a seed on Ohio State, who could just as well be swapped with Michigan at this point. Other than that, though, I don't see a seed Miami should jump.
  7. I'm basically wiped out, but we should try to put a final bracket together.
  8. So if Mississippi wins, they're in and Kentucky's out, and Iowa State would get slotted into the first round.
  9. S-Curve (68): 1. Indiana 2. Duke 3. Louisville (Big East) 4. Gonzaga (WCC) 5. Kansas (Big 12) 6. Michigan State 7. Michigan 8. Georgetown 9. Miami 10. Ohio State 11. New Mexico (MWC) 12. Florida 13. Marquette 14. Kansas State 15. Syracuse 16. Wisconsin 17. Pittsburgh 18. Arizona 19. Oklahoma State 20. St. Louis 21. VCU 22. Butler 23. Colorado State 24. North Carolina 25. Illinois 26. UNLV 27. Notre Dame 28. Creighton 29. UCLA 30. North Carolina State 31. Memphis (C-USA) 32. San Diego State 33. Missouri 34. Minnesota 35. Oklahoma 36. Cincinnati 37. Colorado 38. Oregon (Pac-12) 39. St. Mary's 40. Villanova 41. Temple 42. Wichita State 43. Boise State 44. Iowa State 45. Belmont (OVC) 46. California 47. La Salle 48. Middle Tennessee 49. Kentucky 50. Akron (MAC) 51. Bucknell (Patriot) 52. Valparaiso (Horizon) 53. New Mexico State (WAC) 54. Davidson (SoCon) 55. Northwestern State (Southland 56. Harvard (Ivy) 57. South Dakota State (Summit) 58. Iona (MAAC) 59. Florida Gulf Coast (A-Sun) 60. Pacific (Big West 61. Montana (Big Sky) 62. Albany (America East) 63. James Madison (CAA) 64. Western Kentucky (Sun Belt) 65. LIU Brooklyn (NEC) 66. Southern (SWAC) 67. North Carolina A&T (MEAC) 68. Liberty (Big South) Last 4 in: California La Salle Middle Tennessee Kentucky Last 4 out: Iowa Tennessee Baylor Mississippi Next 4 out: Maryland Massachusetts Virginia Alabama
  10. My last picks:
  11. Got busy with other things last night, but I'll get this all figured out soon.
  12. Northwestern State upset SFA for the Southland title. Could be slotted down some.
  13. Akron takes the MAC auto bid just to remove any possible doubt.
  14. SWAC 1 seed Southern actually won the SWAC, so I'd bet they get "rewarded" with a game against a 1 seed instead of a play-in. EDIT: #7 seed NC A&T won the MEAC, and they're definitely in the play-in game.
  15. They're probably for sure in if they win tomorrow though.
  16. Along with 2 top 50 wins, 2 losses outside the top 100 and 2 losses outside the top 200. EDIT: And a weaker non conference schedule than Iowa, who is only not getting in because of their non conference schedule and inability to beat a top 25 team..
  17. Yes, no shame losing to Wisky.
  18. Way to go, CBS. Cut away from the 4 point Memphis-Southern Miss game with 30 seconds to play to go over the Indiana-Wisconsin pre-game warmups, and everybody missed Southern Miss's comeback to send the game to OT.
  19. America East championship tied with under four to play
  20. Next steps: 1) Rank the next 12 in order, not your team. 2) Rank the remaining 8 in order. 3) Rank the last 4 at-larges (Kentucky, Cal, La Salle, Tennessee) along with the 10 teams in consideration (some in consideration only because they're still alive in their tourney) 4) Bracket the teams we've got in the S-Curve. Should now have seeds 1-6 and 12-16 done.
  21. Round 4 results... Current S-Curve (48): 1. Indiana 2. Duke 3. Louisville 4. Gonzaga (WCC) 5. Kansas 6. Michigan State 7. Michigan 8. Georgetown 9. Miami 10. Ohio State 11. New Mexico 12. Florida 13. Marquette 14. Kansas State 15. Syracuse 16. Wisconsin 17. Pittsburgh 18. Arizona 19. Oklahoma State 20. St. Louis 21. VCU 22. Butler 23. Colorado State 24. North Carolina ... 45. Belmont (OVC) 46. Kentucky 47. California 48. La Salle 49. Tennessee 50. MAC (Akron) 51. Bucknell (Patriot) 52. Valparaiso (Horizon) 53. Southland (SF Austin) 54. WAC (New Mexico State) 55. Davidson (SoCon) 56. Harvard (Ivy) 57. South Dakota State (Summit) 58. Iona (MAAC) 59. Florida Gulf Coast (A-Sun) 60. Big West (Pacific) 61. Big Sky (Weber State) 62. America East (Vermont) 63. James Madison (CAA) 64. Western Kentucky (Sun Belt) 65. MEAC (NC Central) 66. LIU Brooklyn (NEC) 67. SWAC (Southern) 68. Liberty (Big South) Next 12 vote: Cincinnati Creighton (MVC) Illinois Memphis Minnesota Missouri North Carolina State Notre Dame Oklahoma San Diego State UCLA UNLV Remaining field (8): Boise State Colorado Iowa State Oregon St. Mary's Temple Villanova Wichita State Off the board for now, but still in the conversation (10): Alabama Baylor Iowa Maryland Massachusetts Middle Tennessee Mississippi Southern Miss Vanderbilt Virginia
  22. My lists:
  23. Only got 2 lists today so far, so I'm going to sleep and will post my list in the morning and compile the data. Tomorrow I'l work the remaining teams under discussion into the voting.
  24. I'm pretty sure Florida's bid is safe.
  25. They're at least on the "bid thief" table along with Vandy and Alabama in the SEC, UMass in the A-10, Southern Miss in the C-USA, and Maryland in the ACC.
