  1. Oh. My. God.
  2. It's all on Boozer now.
  3. Marv questioned the officiating briefly during the first OT, and I believe the Russian Mob had him liquidated, which is why Kerr is there alone now.
  4. Nazr Mohammed, because [expletive] the Russian Mob.
  5. They should go to the replay to see if Deng fouled Evans by letting himself get thrown down.
  6. First foul called on the Nets since Gerald Williams fouled out two hours ago.
  7. Haha, the other game is at halftime.
  8. This game will end with Brook Lopez tripping over a chair during a Bulls timeout, fouling out Noah.
  9. How hilarious would it be for the Bulls to put Rose in now...
  10. He wanted to get the 2 for 1.
  11. You know, refs, you're allowed to call fouls on both teams.
  12. Robinson has 23 points in the quarter.
  13. NHL playoff outlook going into the last(ish) day of the season: East: - Pittsburgh and Washington have clinched the 1 and 3 seeds. - Boston and Montreal are tied for the 2 seed, though Boston has a game in hand (2 remaining). Montreal currently leads the tiebreaker. The division loser will be the 4 seed. - Toronto gets the 5 seed if they get a point in their last game or Ottawa doesn't win both games. - NY Islanders are currently in the 6 seed position with a 1 point lead over Ottawa and the Rangers, but lose all the tiebreakers and are done playing, so a point from either Ottawa or the Rangers and the Islanders are 7th, and a point from each and they're 8th. - NY Rangers hold the tiebreaker over Ottawa for 7th unless they win their last game in a shootout and Ottawa wins one in regulation. West: - Chicago, Anaheim and Vancouver have clinched the 1, 2, and 3 seeds. - St. Louis will be the 4 or 5 seed unless they lose in regulation and San Jose beats Los Angeles in OT or SO. A win and they're the 4 seed regardless. - The Los Angeles-San Jose loser will be the 6 seed, unless the above mentioned scenario happens. - Detroit is the 7 seed with a win, and is in the playoffs with a point or a regulation loss by Minnesota or Columbus. - Minnesota is in the playoffs with a win, and holds the tiebreakers over Detroit and Columbus. - Columbus needs at least a point and a Minnesota regulation loss, or a win and a Detroit regulation loss or Minnesota loss to make the playoffs. Columbus would climb to the 7 seed with a win and regulation losses by Detroit and Minnesota.
  14. The real important question here is...how will this affect J-Webb nation?
  15. Detroit isn't in yet.
  16. This feels like the bulls drafting Noah 7 years ago
  17. I wonder how differently this would have all played out had Rose gone to Texas A&M.
  18. When is it ever a good idea to expend more than minimal assets for backup MI and bullpen spots? I can understand the sentiment that the Cubs should've invested more into the OF and 3B holes in the lineup, but I have no issue with them unloading middle IF depth and pen arms to shore up SP, 1B and organizational depth.

    Week #4

Well, now half the league is in first place in the West division.
  20. Time to start a massive winning streak chock full of luck corrections. Tonight we have Edwin Jackson 0-2, 6.06 ERA http://a.espncdn.com/combiner/i?img=/i/headshots/mlb/players/full/5842.png&w=65&h=90&scale=crop&background=0xcccccc&transparent=false fresh off a record setting performance, up against Hiram Burgos http://a.espncdn.com/combiner/i?img=/i/headshots/mlb/players/full/32572.png&w=65&h=90&scale=crop&background=0xcccccc&transparent=false making his major league debut, as the Brewers finally needed a 5th starter. Lineups: Cubs: D DeJesus CF S Castro SS A Rizzo 1B A Soriano LF N Schierholtz RF D Navarro C L Valbuena 3B D Barney 2B E Jackson P Brewers: N Aoki RF J Segura SS R Braun LF R Weeks 2B J Lucroy C L Schafer CF M Maldonado 1B Y Betancourt 3B H Burgos P
  21. Oh man, Rizzo missed a meatball by just a little.
  22. You're added...and on deck. I'm fully prepared to start a game thread in the middle of May.
  23. I'll hop into the rotation wherever so we don't end up going through the full rotation every 2 weeks.
  24. http://geardiary.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/A-Flowchart-to-Help-You-Determine-if-Yoursquore-Having-a-Rational-Discussion.jpg
  25. Either way, it isn't likely that the Cubs' long term answer at 3B is currently on the 25 man roster. That doesn't mean that the team is awful and irreconcilable, though. Right now, the offense is performing about as expected overall, with a bit of bad timing luck. The starting pitching is over-performing while at the same time being at less than full strength. The bullpen is vastly under-performing, leading to a lot of knee-jerk reactions over two weeks of play.
