  1. Yeah, they're in the NIT, just not sure where. They can't host at all though.
  2. Maybe NIT discussion as well since making it have its own thread is silly. Right now, I have Florida, Louisville, Arizona, and MSU in my Final Four. I also have a difficult time not having the top 4 seeds in the Sweet 16 in the Midwest region.
  3. As far as the NIT goes, there are a record 13 bids that will automatically be given to conference champions that didn't make the NCAAs (Green Bay, Louisiana Tech, Vermont, Iona, Belmont, Davidson, Georgia State, UC Irvine, Boston U, Robert Morris, Florida Gulf Coast, Utah Valley, High Point). And that doesn't even include SWAC champ Southern, who is ineligible. That leave 19 bids for the rest of the slags that didn't make the "real" tourney. Going by my data, that would be: SMU Florida State St. John's Utah Southern Miss Illinois Clemson Minnesota Maryland Missouri Arkansas Marquette Georgetown Cal West Virginia LSU Georgia Indiana Toledo
  4. Iowa certainly fell down an elevator shaft the past 3 weeks.
  5. 3 of the top 4 seeds in the Midwest region were in the Final Four last year.
  6. NC State was so far off the radar I didn't even include them on the at-large potential list initially.
  7. Whoever from the AAC was pitching to the committee needs to learn to be much better at it next year.
  8. East: Virginia, Villanova, MSU, Iowa State, Cincinnati, UConn, UNC, Memphis, George Washington, Harvard, St. Joe's... ...The American only has 1 team placed so far (Louisville).
  9. Huh. Iowa and Tennessee BARELY in.
  10. NC State what.
  11. Nebraska and BYU in. Remainder of bubbles nervous.
  12. Committee like: Kansas, Colorado, Dayton Committee don't like: Pitt
  13. MSU had a good week, not sure how the committee will respond to it.
  14. Florida wins the SEC in a mess of a final game, when they missed the front ends of two one and ones, got an O-Reb on the first and Kentucky got the second and failed to get a shot off before time expired.
  15. MSU could be a team that gets a seed bump due to the team being healthy now. Kansas the other way, to the point where you could probably just swap them in the bracket.
  16. Here's a bracket. Not sure if I'll tweak it after the SEC/Big Ten champs, but I think it's legal right now. http://i.imgur.com/4vkWiHw.png
  17. Louisiana-Lafayette wins the Sun Belt.
  18. Sun Belt is in OT, just because.
  19. Virginia wins the ACC, St. Joe's wins the A-10.
  20. Updated with data from today, simple S-curve for now, will finish bracket later: First four out: St. John's Colorado Utah Dayton
  21. Those two are the worst kind of prognosticators. Wrong frequently and yet always indignant when anyone tries to call them on it.
  22. Cal Poly wins the Big West at 13-19, and New Mexico St. wins the WAC. Only bid in play today for teams not in the at-large pool already is the Sun Belt.
  23. Iowa State wins the Big 12.
  24. Also, UCLA wins the Pac-12 and Louisville wins the American.
  25. Weber State wins the Big Sky, Stephen F. Austin wins the Southland, and Providence makes sure they get in by winning the Big East.
