Yeah, this is exactly why people saying a Ghana-Germany draw was the US's best result was wrong. They were right if there were only 4 minutes of injury time.

Do you consider losing by 2 goals a blowout loss? Because that and any Ghana win would knock us put I believe. Yes, a 2 goal loss is blowout enough.

Win or draw and they advance. Loss and they advance if a Portugal win and USA loss net fewer than 5 goal difference, or if US lose by 1 and Ghana win by 1 and Ghana doesn't score more than 1 more goal than US.
