  1. 3 games in, and 0 of the 150 brackets in our work pool are perfect.
  2. Ugh, had forgotten about that. Lost by 30 this year, though. A different team without their best player.
  3. At one point, American was leading 17-10. Since then, it's been 50-9.
  4. I regret nothing for leaving Colorado out of my bracket.
  5. Nike announced that they will unveil the new Fighting Illini rebrand on April 16. Considering they've been about as plain and boring as possible since the NCAA made them remove all references to Illiniwek in logos, jerseys and gear, there's a lot of improvement available for the new brand.
  6. Well, Sczcur's not even on the list yet...
  7. Ray Rice with more yards per carry tonight than Ray Rice
  8. Someone ping Chuck that it's been his turn for 16 hours or so?

Boo. I lose a Kershaw start! Oh, I'm sure you'll get another one.
  10. 1. The Process - Kris Bryant, CHC 2. NSBB via Bazingas - Jonathan Gray, COL 3. Lynx 4. Chicken of Sea 5. Harry's Budcrew 6. Alamo Stealth 7. Quakers 8. Cucamonga Cracker Killers 9. Ron Washington's Dealers 10. Mighty D-Block 11. Galesburg Hand Sanitizers 12. Scioscia's Tragic Illness 13. Kid Rodelo 14. Northside Baseball 15. Theocracy 16. Calvinball Ping Juan.
  11. Well, there's the violations at Tennessee, too. That's kind of vital to the backstory of what a douche he is. Those Tennessee violations happen at every single program multiple times per year. He got caught and lied is basically the only difference. And then told his recruits to lie. Probably just a one time thing though All Bruce Pearl needs is a second chance. He'll never go wrong again.
  12. Yes.
  13. Well, there's the violations at Tennessee, too. That's kind of vital to the backstory of what a douche he is. Those Tennessee violations happen at every single program multiple times per year. He got caught and lied is basically the only difference. Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on you.
  14. Hopefully they make it to 3rd best team in the SEC before the sanctions.
  15. This is the base order, but I'm not sure who traded what picks. 1. The Process - Kris Bryant, CHC 2. NSBB via Bazingas 3. Lynx 4. Chicken of Sea 5. Harry's Budcrew 6. Alamo Stealth 7. Quakers 8. Cucamonga Cracker Killers 9. Ron Washington's Dealers 10. Mighty D-Block 11. Galesburg Hand Sanitizers 12. Scioscia's Tragic Illness 13. Kid Rodelo 14. Northside Baseball 15. Theocracy 16. Calvinball EDIT: The only first round prospect pick I see getting traded was #2 overall. If I missed others, let me know. That means Tim is up.
  16. Nate Silver being all Nate Silver on the NCAA tournament: http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/nate-silvers-ncaa-basketball-predictions/
  17. This is usually why I build my bracket backwards, starting with the champ and working back from there.
  18. it's funny to me that espn invents bpi and then proceeds to act like it matters. I don't think Gasaway cares much for BPI either. http://johngasaway.com/2014/03/17/what-we-talk-about-when-we-talk-about-building-brackets/#more-1164
  19. @JohnGasaway And give the NCAA credit. To still be using the RPI in 2014 is a remarkable piece of inertia. It's not easy to be that inert.
  20. Yeah, ESPN's interviews with Larry Brown and Steve Lavin were priceless.
  21. PSU, Oregon State and Texas A&M to the CBI with...a bunch of other crap. IU probably refused to play anywhere but the NIT and NCAA.
  22. Is that just based on NIT one and two seeds? Because I thought the NIT does some wacky things with seeding so that a 1 seed doesn't necessarily mean it was the closest to NCAAs The NCAA manages both now, so since the NIT is seeded as well I'd imagine it's just a continuation of NCAA seeds. Illinois will play on the road as far as they go, though, since their arena is being renovated.
  23. Yes, far as I know I've been on autodraft all weekend.
  24. Oh man, these interviews with the NIT 1 seed coaches. Larry Brown was in shock, Steve Lavin was saying everything he could to avoid saying how the NIT sucks. EDIT: Brown had a press conference at the stadium where everyone had gathered to celebrate their NCAA bid. Brown: "I don't want to hear anyone complaining about where we are. It is what it is." Lavin, on the other hand, was a phone interview, and all he had to say was "Well, my father was in the NIT back when it was a very respected tournament..."
  25. Last 4 out: Minnesota, Florida State, St. John's, SMU Next four out: California, Illinois, Missouri, Georgia
