I mean, that's a FAR better option to advance, but honest I'd rather see the US play Argentina because Argentina has been undoubtedly the best team in the tournament. At full strength I would agree. At this point we are so depleted I don't really want to see it. Honestly they could go with Beckerman, Nagbe, Pulisic and it wouldn't be bad.

Jurgen's biggest mistake this game was making each sub about 5 minutes later than he needed to. First one should have been for Bedoya just after the second goal, second should have been about the 75th minute, and Birnbaum should have been just going into stoppage.

Also props to Landon for calling out the Ecuador coach on his words that got his sent off. Should get some serious fines if the association is serious about cutting down on the offensive and derogatory speech.

Warren's problem right now is that he's giving up too many long fly balls and walking too many. Hitters really aren't hitting him often, none of his pitches are especially bad, just having trouble locating right now, which is fixable. -

Cahill has been good, Strop has been great, Warren has been really good, Grimm has great stuff and lousy results, Rondon has been about the best in the league, and Wood has been great. Great does not mean "never allows a run", so you get days where the pen allows runs. Cahill has been good I agree, Strop obviously. But Adam Warren? He's given up 8 earned runs in his last 7.2 IP Yes, if you ignore the amazing start to the season and pick out his worst stretch then it can be made to look less than great.
