  1. Sure would be nice if Arrieta remembered he was good. Same goes for Russell, Schwarber, Rizzo, etc.
  2. Well, I can't really fault Butler if they lose this game. Score some runs.
  3. The point is we need more than a 5th starter. I don't think we *need* anything. We will win this division fairly easily when all is said and done. Still think we need another front line starter to pair with Lester. And obviously SP is a major need going forward with losing Arrieta and the mouth breather after this year.
  4. It probably would've stopped if Montgomery could have gotten out of the inning.
  5. Is this ump's strike zone as tiny as it is on Gameday?
  6. Let's try that getting on base and scoring runs thing, please.
  7. idk, I can't tell the difference between him and Arrieta right now.
  8. Yeah, I'm hoping this whole series gets washed out.
  9. horsefeathers, you could probably put LeBron on the Nets and they'd be a title contender. He basically had nothing but bums around him in the Finals two years ago when Kyrie and Love were out, and they still gave Golden State a fight.
  10. I don't think it's going to matter as far as a championship this year goes, but Boston's going to be regretting that they didn't trade for Jimmy or PG during this playoff run. With one of those guys next to IT, I think they would've been able to give Cleveland all they can handle. Bobby Portis looked just like Tyrus in G1 of that series back in 2009. Hopefully Niko's leash is much shorter the rest of the series if Bobby's going to play like that.
  11. Idk how anyone can willingly pay money to go to a Bulls game right now.
  12. If he actually shoots open shots instead of faking them, with Russ, he's definitely going to better his numbers in OKC. i feel like this is more a niko thing open 3 in the corner? pump fake contested shot 10 feet beyond the 3 pt line? insta-chuck It's more prevalent when Niko does it because he does it all the time. It's more frustrating when McDermott does it though because he's a much better shooter.

  14. I would've loved it but with this conservative management? No way would they want a guy like Cousins, no matter how talented he is.
  15. That was impressive. Wondering if I should be worried about Lindsey though... Not yet -- he has mono, right? If he's not back by next week, then it would start to get worrisome.
  16. I just remember stupid people on RealGM clinging onto Mirotic and the Charlotte pick and not wanting to trade them. I wanna say it was for something awesome too like Aldridge. I thought it was Love.
  17. Yeah. That month that he had in March of 2015, I think he suckered a lot of us into thinking what he could be. He's a total bum now.
  18. i will very much enjoy seeing goodell have to hand brady and kraft a SB trophy if it comes down to that I'd rather have the Falcons win, but if the Pats win...that would make it worth it.
  19. lol I'll take looking like a dumbass if it means the Packers keep winning.
  20. The Jimmy-Wade-McDermott-Mirotic lineup needs to be used significantly more. It almost doesn't matter who the 5 is on offense when you have those guys out there, although Felicio has played pretty well whenever he gets burn. Amazing what happens when you have two floor spacers in the game next to Jimmy and Wade.
  21. And if Abbatacola is the guy replacing Boers...lol.
  22. I think that ever since Goff left his producer role and went to Atlanta, that's when the show started to go downhill. That was right around the same time as the daily Penn State shows/concussion shows/etc. Boers totally mailed it in the last few years by just agreeing with everything Bernstein said and not really offering anything of substance. Ultimately, it was a combination of a lot of things adding up which led to the show to get progressively worse. Prior to that, though, the show was great. And by great, I mean better than 95% of the crap that constitutes sports radio. Even when I was in college, I made sure to stream it as often as I could.
  23. Watching the final B&B show on Facebook...man, Terry's left side of his face looks rough.
