    these refs are a joke. Tyson gets pushed out of bounds and no foul is called. Bulls still up by 2 with 1:30 left.

    what a terrible 1st half. These guys not only look real rusty, but real bad. It's obvious Deng hasn't played much since he got hurt in March last year and everyone else with maybe the exception of Kirk just decided to take a half off. We ARE facing the Bobcats, so i do feel like we can come back and make a game out of it.

    well NIU can't afford to put up any more duds for the rest of the year. Real simple..if they win their final 3, they're in the MAC Championship game. If they lose either this week to Central Mich or in 2 weeks to Toledo, our season will be a complete failure and we won't even make a bowl game. so hopefully good NIU shows up and they beat Central Michigan this week.

    maybe for the better. Maybe Jim Hendry will finally wake up and realize that if they can win a WS, we can too. and about the whole "trash talking" thing..I'm a Packers fan and yeah I get dissed at school for being a Packer fan. I don't trash talk or anything, I have more respect to do that. Today for example, I got it pretty good. I don't really care. I've grown immune to it over the years. If the Sox win the WS, fine, I don't care about the trash talking. It doesn't bother me like it bothers some of you guys. Just take the high road...

    i hate Houston. I hate Clemens, I hate Berkman, and i HATE Biggio. I've lived in the Chicago area my whole life and sorry to say, but I have nothing real personal with the Sox. I've been to a few Cubs-Sox games in my lifetime and they are awesome to be at. However like i said in another thread, I hate St. Louis and Houston much much more than the Sox.

    the Sox are cashing in on ALL of the breaks they are getting though. It's amazing how one team can get all of the calls to go their way AND make the other team pay as well.

    Crede-Uribe-Podsednik due up this inning for the Sox. I think they have to score at least once if they have a chance at this one.

    im actually pretty good friends with a Cardinals fan. Yeah he hates the Cubs, but i can actually engage in some pretty good baseball conversations with him. I don't hate Cards fans really, just the team and the city :D

    is Crede a Card fan? I'm jealous the W Sox have PODS, hes pretty good........ I guess I am getting old, I remember kerry throwing alotta heat in '98, including the 20 k game i remember the nasty curve Kerry threw to Derrek Bell to end that game.

    If he keeps throwing them 99 nobody's gonna hit them and he can throw them all night. i agree, that thing was unhittable. Throw in Bagwell's shoulder problem and he was very lucky he got a piece of those foul balls.

    Umm...so much for Basanez getting his third straight Big Ten offensive player of the week award. Does ESPN2 have alternate programming in case the refs decide to exercise the slaughter rule? its pretty pathetic, I thought their decent showing at Cal would've resulted in momentum heading into the Big 10 season. I think that loss a couple of weeks ago to Indiana probably sent this team into a tailspin. That and the lack of talent on the defensive side of the ball and the O-line really hurts as well.
