they played 4 pretty good quarters. San Antonio only got out to a double digit lead because of very hot shooting from Ginobili. The Bulls were real close on the rebounding end with the Spurs which was real surprising especially when Tyson was out of the game. The lack of a big man definitely affected them against the Nets...hopefully the Bulls team that played against the Spurs shows up. If that happens, there's no reason we won't beat Golden State by at least 10.

Why is Nocioni starting over Deng? Deng is the biggest key to this team IMO. He's the guy that has the upside to make up for some of the points Curry took with him. yep i agree with you. Nocioni has also showed me absolutely nothing so far in the first 3 games of the season. You can say I'm wrong, but I don't like the idea of having 2 of your 3 best players on the bench. Like ndistops said, Noc brings intensity, a quality for guys that come off the bench. This is a game we need. If we lose this, we need to make lineup changes immediately. That being said though, these next 2 games are huge. I'll be fine with 3 wins before going on the circus trip.

yep...congrats on the division. The Bears at the least should go 7-9 this season which should win the division anyway. I'd wager that they'll do just a little better than that.. :wink: They're not gonna go 2-6 the rest of the way. Especially not with two against the Packers, one against Minnesota, and of course, next week against the 49ers. I'd say they'll AT LEAST go 9-7, but I'm thinking more like 10-6, or with some luck (and maybe some Rex), 11-5. i know i was saying the absolute LEAST the Bears are going to be is 7-9. 1 win against the 49ers and 1 against the Pack is a given. 7-9 IMO will win the division so that's why I said that. A realistic finish for the Bears will probably be 9-7. Yah, I know. Just wanted to take the opportunity to take a subtle jab at your Pack by listing them among the games we should win. :) well its alright...my heart is telling me to hope they sweep the Bears but my brian is telling me to go 0-8 the rest of the way :lol: We'll be very lucky to score a TD on the Bears defense in either game.

Look at it this way: through 2 games we are 1 ahead of last years pace! we will be through three too. All we needed was one rebound too. Oh well its early. The rebounding is horrible right now. How many offensive rebounds have they given up already in 2 games? unfortunately, i think were going to have to get used to it. Chandler always gets in foul trouble early and there isn't anyone on our team that is close to his size. Were going to be outrebounded in a lot of games this year...

that was a great comeback. NU still has a mathematical chance at the Big 10 but they need a lot of help to get it. But nonetheless, that was a great game and a big win for the Cats.

Hendry cannot be that dumb. Right?? 8-[ Hopefully there is no rush to sign him and Neifi is showered with offers to start elsewhere. Hendry brings him back and I quit. I don't need this crap. I don't deserve this crap. I have stuck around for 20 years of this crap and I just can't take us employing Neifi Perez for a third straight year. This makes me really want Furcal and a trade for Soriano(obp aside) I cannot handle antoher year of Neifi. i agree, i cant believe i want Soriano as much as i do now. Just anything to make sure Neifi won't be a starter.

Overbay would also make sense seeing he is in the same situation as Thome. Fielder is going to be the 1st baseman for the Brewers eventually, so maybe the Sox could trade a starter to Milwaukee for Overbay. -
:shock: Washburn isn't as overrated and is a LEFTY. I believe that we need at least one lefty in the rotation. Don't get me wrong, I'd love Burnett but Washburn won't demand as much and probably won't want as many years as Burnett wants.
