    and the fans at Boulder are acting like idiots as the game was delayed for students throwing water bottles on the field. Right after Nebraska missed a FG, a fan ran out on the field as well. Pretty sad state of events in this game.

    Texas had 2 chances to put A&M pretty much away yet they go 3 and out and then after recovering a fumble on a punt return, they go 3 and out again and miss a FG. Aggies have to take advantage of this.

    TD Texas, 28-22 Longhorns. I really hope the 2 missed EP chances by the Aggies don't come back to hurt them.

    Career .356 OBP (.377 and .395 the last two years) off of the bench sounds like a stellar PH to me. I'd love to have him coming off of the bench for us. seconded. Good to see Hendry actually trying to work on our bench, ours had to have been one of the weakest in the majors last year. Hopefully dumping Macias is in the cards as well. I liked everything in that report except the Brown thing. Cmon Jim you can't be serious especially since we already have one guy in the rotation pushing 40 as it is.

    ok, so Podsednik doesn't hit homers. Big deal. We've had teams on the North Side the last few years who live and die by the long ball. That got us real far in 2004 and 2005 :roll:

    MAC WEST CHAMPS!!! NIU destroyed Western Mich today, 42-7. Wolfe had a monster day with 274 yards and 5 TD's! If Akron wins tomorrow morning, we play Akron next Thursday in the MAC Championship. If Akron loses, we'll play Bowling Green in the championship. Either way I'm excited because FINALLY we have a chance to win the conference.

    well we can blame Hendry for Howry's price tag being so high. Eyre was the first RP signed so you knew the price was going to go up for all of the rest of the middle relievers.

    Good luck to the Panters the rest of the way too. We will prob need their help with them knocking some teams off for us. By the way how is a tie breaker for HFA? Is it points allowed? pretty sure its head-to-head then its record in the conference. I mean what if the Bears and Giants tie who has home field advantage throughout? this is according to NFL.com on how to sort a tiebreaker: Two Clubs 1. Head-to-head, if applicable. 2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference. 3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four. 4. Strength of victory. 5. Strength of schedule. 6. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed. 7. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed. 8. Best net points in conference games. 9. Best net points in all games. 10. Best net touchdowns in all games. 11. Coin toss.

    i love Mark Cuban. It would be awesome if he became owner of the Cubs. When he took over as owner of the Mavs, the Mavs were the laughingstock of the NBA. Now they are one of the top teams every year. He would try everything and anything to get the Cubs to win the World Series if he bought the Cubs.

    NIU lost by 35 to Mizzou St. last night. Going to be another long season for NIU's basketball team.

    well I remember the Packers-Bears game last year to finish out the season..the Bears O-line allowed 9 sacks to a pretty bad Packers defense. Carolina's O-line was pretty bad, most of the sacks came on just a 4 man front.

    wow didn't see who the Bears defender was, but that was terrible defense. He just let Gardner catch it.
