  1. Bears get lucky with no flag on that one.
  2. nice sound effect after the kick return...sounded like Maas was zippering up his jacket.
  3. another *smart* challenge by Sherman......
  4. Think they'll hold it together for 4 quarters worth of that? no way. Flanagan has been terrible this year and our guards have to be 2 of the worst in the league. I have hope though that our line will be better next year...we had 9 sacks on the Bears O-line last year in the final game of the year and now the Bears O-line is one of the best in the NFC.
  5. where was this O-line, oh say, all season?
  6. TD Bears. Please blow us out so we can see Aaron Rodgers for most of the 2nd half.
  7. and the injuries just keep piling up...Nick Collins, who's been a great draft pick, now hurt...
  8. I'm 6-0 in my bowl picks so far :D Got lucky with this one tonight though. Nevada did everything they could and then some to give this game to UCF.
  9. Bulls lose 95-77. Mike Miller shot way too many wide open 3's tonight. Skiles is going to have to change his defensive alignments if were going to make the playoffs this year. This has happened WAY too much this year with guys getting great, wide open looks for easy 3's.
  10. God what a scalping. We lose out horribly in that deal. Oh come on, we'd get rid of Patterson. Anything is worth that. Patterson's not the issue...Prior and Hill are.
  11. yeah i was going to post the same thing before i saw your post. Please Jim, punch yourself in the head a few dozen times to wake you up from realizing what you are about to do.
  12. The TEAM, not Dee himself. is illinois THAT unlikelable of a team that everyone has to hope against hope for their downfall? they are the kings until supplanted, and i really don't think that MSU has the ability to beat them. i'm biased, but still...i find it very hard to believe MSU is going to come into Champaign and beat the Illini at home.
  13. fixed. whatever. the bulls aren't going anywhere until they get rid of skiles. I think they wont go anywhere until they get rid of all the players who don't disserve to be on an NBA roster. Also, I would agree that it would help is Skiles wouldn't give guys like Songalia and Pargo 18 and 15 mpg respectively. Perhaps a competant big man, or a guard over 6'2'' would help. They have lots of money to spend next year, but it's pretty clear they aren't going anywhere with this roster, this year. i could just see paxson making a big signing and then skiles benching that player into demanding a trade. skiles is a star-killer much like some stars are coach-killers. we DO need a big guard and a better option than chandler at center. oh well, we're stuck with that one for a while. yep we blew that one on Tyson...for now. He has regressed completely on defense this year. He had games last year where he would be all over the ball when the ball was off the rim last year...he boxed out and did a good job of doing that. He's not boxing out as much this year, he looks more lazy this year (not working out in the offseason could contribute to that), and he looks even worse (if possible) on the offensive side this year. Our main needs right now are definitely a Center so Tyson can go back to being a PF and a big "star" type guard.
  14. Yeah, Chicago played really good for the first three quarters, but the free-throw line tells the tale in this game. Cleveland shot 31 more free throws than the Bulls. sounds exactly like the Knicks game a few weeks ago. Had a big lead on them, but they shot nearly 60 FT's in that game. I didn't get to see the game tonight, but man...all of the fouls we are getting are killing us.
  15. i agree 100%. He's going to get a signing bonus that is going to be higher than $20 million...why would it matter where the heck you play if your getting payed that kind of money? The last thing the NFL needs is another spoiled brat like Eli Manning.
  16. interesting...I'm not putting much stock into it yet though considering it's from some guy I've never heard of. Plus this "rumor" hasn't been talked about anywhere else. All I've heard from Reggie's mouth is that he would love to go to the Jets.
  17. You may have to go through me first. how about we just make that our NSBB gathering for this year?
  18. Guh? I sure would love to hear what Hendry thinks is a good trade that involves Prior. i feel like i just got punched in the stomach. your not alone. If Prior is traded, I don't know what the **** I'll do.
  19. Zambrano for Tejada? Not likely. I would send Zambrano for maybe someone like Bret Boone. He's had a few good seasons lately, he'd look great in Cubbie Blue. --Edward K., Indianapolis, Ind. seriously though, Phil Rogers is an idiot and so is Edward K. for even thinking about that trade. Why would the Cubs give up arguably their best starter AND their best prospect for Tejada? Jim Hendry mind as well fire himself now if he would do something that stupid.
  20. Ballgame. 82-50 is the final. Illinois should finish the non-conference schedule undefeated for the 2nd year in a row.
  21. 39-21 Illini at half...a little sloppy, but good enough for an 18 point lead.
