my friend has one of these orange jerseys and they didn't look that bad...they look horrible on TV though. Way too bright.

i'll be going to the NIU-DePaul game here on the 28th. i think the pollmakers have Illinois right where I think they should be. IMO they are around a 20th ranked team in the country as of now. Beating UNC in UNC is never an easy thing, so that's definitely going to be Illinois' toughest challenge of the non-conference schedule.

Illinois shouldn't be a battle. They lost 37-3 to Purdue today. Purdue is not a good team at all this year. Northwestern will beat Illinois by at least 3 TD's next week. Baz has been bad the last two games, the WRs have been bad the past three games (as has the offensive line), and special teams is unbelievably horrid. Not sure what the injury report is, but despite it being a game they should win easily, they have not looked good at all since Michigan State. Baz has been pretty bad..he has been overthrowing wide open receivers countless times over the last few weeks. It doesn't help when the wideouts are dropping easy completions either. Everything will click though against Illinois' defense though, I will promise you that.

i agree with this. We can use the extra money that we would've spent on Furcal to pursue either Giles or one of the 3 starting pitchers.

And go winless in the Big Ten? The all-blue combo they had against the Packers on MNF a couple of years ago wasn't that bad, but that was just a different combination. There really isn't a reason to use alternate jerseys when they're not throwbacks. i liked the blue pants they had in that game. The uni's looked a lot smoother i guess is the word you could use. i just hope the Packers never EVER wear those hideous "golden" yellow alternate jerseys.

i don't understand why they are wearing the orange on a game against the 49ers instead of a game on a national stage like the Falcons game on a Sunday night.

Does anyone know if that pick is conditional? Like, if the Knicks get a top 2 pick or something, they keep it? I read somewhere it was conditional, but I asked the question on basketballboards.net's Bulls board (best Bulls message board out there btw) and they said it was unprotected I'm on that board as well, same name as on here. im on realgm.com as the same user name.

we nearly beat a team that many think will finish in the top 3 in the East and we nearly beat a team that has won 2 of the last 3 NBA Titles. I'm not worried in the least right now. I do think that we are going to have a LOT of close games this year however.

whew, big win for the Bullies tonight! I don't know if I can take many more of these close games :lol: Golden State is going to win their share of games this year. And Derrek Fisher reminded me of why I have never liked the guy. He is as clutch as they come. nonetheless, were back at .500 :)
