I think he realizes that is what he has to do when he has an off night. Too many times a year ago or two years ago, he would try to shoot his way out of a slump. Now he knows how to draw fouls and he drives the lane at will. It is definitely nice to see from Ben. Even though we nearly blew a 15 point lead in 7 minutes, it's still a good win. Finishing the homestand at 7-1 is real impressive. Let's get a win at the ATL tomorrow :)

Thomas is a beast on defense, but he needs to become a better FT shooter. It would've been nice if he made at least one of those last two.

So was Ernie Banks And Devin Hester, also alot of hot chicks. At one point I thought it was the Cubs cameraman, because he was showing all the hotties. On a scale of 1-10, here is how I would rate the reaction of the fans: 10 out of 10 - Cheering for the Bulls to hit 100 for the Big Macs 9 out of 10 - Hester on the Jumbotron (this was extended for about 30-40 seconds too, a lot of people stood up and clapped) 7 out of 10 - Banks 6 out of 10 - Soriano (a noticible contingent of boos from White Sox fans, who didn't boo Banks) 3 out of 10 - The rest of the game action. Bulls fans are lifeless unless they are begged to cheer, and most of the time its not during game action. Haha. Nice. I wish that the fans could get the UC rocking...

I'll never understand why Angel Pagan has so many fans. What is it, the suckiness, the name, or the speed that the 2006 Cubs prided themselves on?

Tyrus Thomas only played the final 1:30. Why exactly did we draft this guy again? For him to learn how to sit on the bench? Another nice blowout W, always my favorites, but it was a blowout. Why the heck didn't the rooks get more PT? The same outcome should happen on Friday night as well against the Bucks.

Clemens is just getting started. After he signs with Boston for one year, he's going to want to stay in the AL because of the challenge. But he'll want to go home and pitch in Texas. So he'll go to the Rangers for a year. Then he decides to retire...or not. So instead he goes back to the Yankees for a year to see if he can go out on top. The Yanks win the World Series. Clemens retires again, but decides maybe he should win a World Series back in the National League, with Houston. Repeat the process about 20 times and he'll finally retire for good.

Hawks hang on to win it, 3-2. The Flames are more than likely going to win, so we'll still be 4 points out of 8th. Dead Wings at the UC on Thursday. That should be interesting.

I'm also looking at the draft thread because I wanted to see some of the comments from back in April. lucky. Hopefully White will still be on the board early 2nd round... :oops: I have a feeling that the Jets are going to be a lot better in 06. x2 Yeah, I was that bored :lol: Pretty funny to see everyone say how bad of a job Angelo did and now 7 1/2 months later, he has two players that can win ROTY awards. Also it is interesting to see that ndi knew the Jets were going to be much better this season and that Greg Jennings was going to be a good pick :wink:
