  1. Yup. I want this [expletive] over before Week 17. Rather finish 6-10 than 10-6 and still watch the playoffs.
  2. They did two years ago.. Uh?
  3. holy [expletive], make it 4 Lol.
  4. Some quick scores today. 3rd TD in like 45 second in Baltimore.
  5. Gronk probably tore his ACL. Peterson may be done for the year too with ankle injury.
  6. FYI, Locker's 5th year in question is 2015. Still under control next year.
  7. Titans not expected to pick up 5th year option on Locker's contact and will heavily pursue Jay Cutler to get him back in Nashville.
  8. I think Robinson will actually get drafted higher than late first given his athleticism and measuables. I like Kony Ealy a lot too. Think he could be a first rounder, he's definitely a better NFL prospect than Michael Sam. Yeah I like Robinson more than Kouandijo and Lewan. My #2 OT if he comes out. Top 15 maybe. Ealy and Gaines (CB) are potential sleeper 1st rounders.
  9. if they grab Choo and Tanaka, and trade Samardzija for near-ML ready pitching, I would look at this offseason as a success. Sounds like an either/or situation. Tanaka alone would be a success. Choo and a strong Samardzija trade would be a success. All 3 and I'm giddy.
  10. He and Bortles are the 2 most interesting decisions.
  11. I thought he already signed with KC? I just read it to though. 3 years no details.
  12. Witten. The Cowboys have given up a lot of points to TEs, but the Bears have for years. Newton will be fine in the Superdome, I'd probably go him in a coin flip.
  13. Yes, because getting out faster makes it all worth it.
  14. Kind of a natural fit. Great move for Texans, IMO. Hire a Texan, in Texas, where there is maybe the most football talent in the country, and hiring a guy that players like to play for. He already has some pieces in place in a lot of places. Maybe adding the #1 pick. Anyone halfway capable of running an offense and they'll be contending for a Superbowl by 2015.
  15. I can see why you do that if you have a couple guys like Vizcaino, coming off of arm injuries. Hasn't shown he can handle the workload, but too valuable for 1 inning at a time. But I don't see the purpose of taking guys who can survive perfectly well for 6 or more innings consistently in a role like that. Kazmir is too good for that role. And if you have a bunch of guys like Vizcaino to do that with the 4th and/or 5th spots in the rotation, that's probably not a good thing.
  16. Yeah, I've wanted Kelly Johnson for years. I'd given Granderson that deal too, though I think it's unlikely he'll be worth that 4th year at the least.
  17. Age is the first thing that comes to mind.
  18. 10 years is much more the issue than 23-24mil per.
  19. He is never starting a game in the majors (again).
  20. Briggs was given 4-6 week timetable. This will be the 7th week he's been out.
  21. Trestman did announce that Cutler won't play Monday, FYI. Briggs also out (didn't practice today). Yeah, Bears are going to lose.
  22. Kind of missing the important part which is where were the defenders in relation to Forte. He might not have had as much space as the receiver. God I hated that play. Was it the throw or a just a receiver slip? Can't remember. The throw made him slip.
  23. Has Lamb regained any velocity? Or should I not get at all excited about him? Honestly don't know, and it's just a name some random poster/fan threw out there. I just posted it because I desperately need to talk about possible moves/trades. :) What do you think about the overall package though (substitute somes names for pieces #3 and #4)? I'd definitely take that.
  24. Which they have been prone to do. I still like the Bears ability to create turnovers. At some point these fumbles are going to stop going right back to the guy that lost it.
