  1. He was brutal in the Cardinals series. I'll give you that.
  2. Also, I couldn't care less about Latroy Hawkins. I don't feel bad for players that are booed. Sorry.
  3. I think that Holly starts because of his mullet and ability to knock himself unconcious running into the wall.
  4. I don't think there is anything left of this dead horse to beat.
  5. Just saw the replay. Wow, that was a great throw.
  6. I don't understand why they aren't shutting him down. If surgery is imminent, why pitch him at all? Get the surgery done. They are doing a disservice to him if they push him out there with a shoulder that needs to be surgically repaired, IMO.
  7. Is Dunn on the Cubs yet?
  8. I think a better title here would be "Damon likes money."
  9. Eventually? More like currently. is money really a problem? are we not getting players b/c of money? the only example i can think of is Clement. i don't think anyone is happy that innings eater left our club. well, other than all of Boston. another possibility is Beltran, who is so overrated and overpaid, he's not even worth using as an argument that Kerry is too expensive. I completely agree with you. That being said, I'd like a 10 million dollar player to, well, play a little more often.
  10. Eventually? More like currently.
  11. Burnitz: Ave:285 OBP:.351 SLG:.492 OPS:.842 Not too shabby.
  12. T.J. was #22 on the Bucs and Pittman is #32, so that doesn't help either.
  13. I think I had this discussion on another board about this picture come to think of it. It was decided it was Jones based on the tats on his arms.
  14. Mine says the inning ended after the bunt hit with Hairston's infield single. :?
  15. I'm not sure anyone's on the Cubs is capable of knocking him down.
  16. There was a good chance Griffey would catch that on a dive. He just missed it. Barrett had to hold up to make sure it wasn't caught. Gotcha. Griffey is having a nice season. Good to see (other than yesterday).
