On one hand, it seems incredibly unlikely that Kyle Hendricks is going to repeatedly intentionally throw at another respected veteran player. On the other hand, Kyle is exactly the kind of guy who could get away with that. Maybe that was his way of trying to show some fight where the rest of the team hasn't? Probably not, but I can't completely rule it out. -
Kyle Hendricks just tied William Hutchinson for 7th all-time on the Cubs strikeout list.

Well done Kyle. He is going to have some games where he gets torched, and probably a few more than in the past, but he seems to have righted the ship overall.

I know the Cubs want length from Hendricks here with the double header tomorrow, but I don't think I would push my luck. 6 scoreless is great. I would be tempted to go to the pen now before he gets in any trouble.
