I'm getting to a point that I just want them to lose for however long it takes for Dusty to get fired. I know it's not all his fault, but it sure as hell wouldn't hurt. As I alluded to in another thread, if the Cubs lose tonite, it will be the fourth losing streak of at least 7 games in the past year under Dusty. That isn't good. In a year??? That's just terrible. I want to see a manager with some fire...when was the last time Dusty got ejected for arguing? When you're losing this much surely there's SOMETHING to argue and show your team that you have some fight in you... Even today, Steve Stone insisted that it's only a matter of time before Baker gets an extension. How can Hendry possibly sell that to the fans? If that happens, does anyone want to put together a protest outside Wrigley trying to deter fans from going into the park? It probably won't happen, but we might get some pub for it. Perhaps a Homer Simpson-esque hunger strike while chained to the Harry Caray statue?
