What is the pen looking like now? (positions might vary depending on game situation of course) CL - Chapman 8th - Rondon 7th - Strop 6th - Edwards LHRP - Montgomery LHRP - Wood RHRP - Nathan/Grimm 13th pitcher - Grimm/Nathan There is no need to declare Chapman the Closer. It should be purely by situation whether Chapman or Rondon pitches the 9th, and I'm pretty sure that is how Joe will handle it. -

I just can't get real excited about a reliever, especially when he costs our #1 prospect. Even if nobody else is available right now, Torres could be a huge component of a deal in the offseason to upgrade the rotation. I would feel better about that than a bullpen arm. -

Well it's worth getting upset over because it's coming from the guy who runs the league, not some sports talk idiot. I just think the underlying premise is flawed, that the way to make baseball more popular is to shorten games by 10 minutes. People who didn't like it before still won't like it, and fans who enjoyed spending a day at the ballpark would have that experience cut shorter (for the same price).
