How much of this season being no fun is that the Cubs have been so bad in stretches, versus baseball itself just being bad and boring with the lack of action? Is this just what baseball is now? Even when the Cubs were awful in previous years, I can't remember periods like this where every game was maddening to watch. I'm sure it is partially an overaction to the moment, but I do think MLB has a problem. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

homophobe (Daniel Murphy), incoming (to the Cubs)

Following this disaster of a season for Washington, does Dave Martinez even make it through next year? It seems that he may be in over his head as a manager, and based on his interview history I suspect that many other teams had already come to that same conclusion. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk -
I love a good pitcher's duel, but this series just feels more like bad baseball and two inept offenses. Whoever wins today, this was an atrocious 4 game series for both teams. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

The old 4-9-3, just like Tinker Evers and Chance used to do. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Darvish left his start after 1 inning. Time to call this one. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Cubs hitters sure seem to be swinging through a lot of fastballs down the middle of the plate. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Well, there is at least one young player from the "core" that the Cubs won't have to worry about re-signing. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Replay needs a revamp. If MLB really cares about pace of play, they should forget about analyzing frame by frame looking for infinitesimally small margins to overturn a call. Take a quick look from all available angles. Either the call is obviously wrong, or it stands. Less than one minute to review, no exceptions. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

almost makes me want Gimenez back If Darvish comes back in September and brings Gimenez with him from Iowa, and if he pitches well enough going into the playoffs, that may cost Caratini his playoff roster spot. At this point, I don't think anyone could get too upset about that decision. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Cubs get their speedy playoff pinch runner guy

Kris Bryant can take the rest of the year off now. The offense is fixed! Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk -
I always have. Even when he is good, there is just something unexciting about the way he pitches. That is perfectly fine if he was consistently good, but he isn't. And it doesn't help that he has the added baggage of having cost the Cubs a likely future superstar. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

When KB gets back, I want to see: Zobrist 2B Baez SS Rizzo 1B Bryant RF Schwarber LF Contreras C Heyward RF Bote 3B But it won’t happen. It won't happen, mainly because someone needs to play Centerfield.

Does being younger than Kylie Jenner have any meaning to the baseball-watching demographic? I certainly don't know and don't care anything about her. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
