    Stafford is going to be 38 years old in a few weeks. He may put a few more solid seasons together, but he is nearing the end.

    I hadn't considered this, but I think "disaster" is a bit strong here. Maybe they even end up re-signing one or two of the QO players going into 2027, in which case the difference here isn't as pronounced.

    I really think the way the Bears performed in those short yardage situations the rest of the game played into that decision. And the way the Bears responded in OT validated the decision. They did everything right up until the Interception and the game was theirs to win. And one other thing to consider, something small but not completely negligible... By kicking the extra point, they ensured the Rams would play it conservative and take a knee, guaranteeing the game would go to OT. But I believe there were like 18 seconds left on the clock at the time and the Rams still had their timeouts. If you go for 2, and even if you make it, the Rams are still a few medium gains or 1 long play away from a possible field goal attempt to win the game.

    Obviously Cris Collinsworth knows a thing or two about playing wide receiver. It is telling that he called out DJ immediately after the play happened, then came back to it after the game and hammered him some more. I agree with some others that it just doesn't make sense... Why would he give up on the route?

    The Bears were getting just enough pressure on him to make him uncomfortable. Maybe the cold played a part. Maybe his finger isn't right. But I give the Bears defense and Dennis Allen credit for keeping the pressure on him and not letting him sit back in the pocket all day.

    The defense was outstanding tonight. The only thing they didn't do was turn the ball over, partially because the bounces went the Rams way when the ball was on the ground.

    Being hurt isn't an excuse up give up on a play. Unless he was concussed, in which case he shouldn't have been out there anyway.

    Is really easy to look back in hindsight, but I didn't like that last pass play at all. The Bears were in complete control at that point and just needed to control the ball and get a first down.

    Completely outplayed the Rams, but lost the turnover battle 3-0. I would never have expected that.

    I was watching at a restaurant without any sound, but it definitely looked like an INT to me. I didn't even realize there was any question about it.
