  1. That just made me pull this CD back out. Awesome.
  2. Totally agreed. Mike Patton is a musical genius. Everything he touches is gold. I'm sure for some people a vote for FNM is also a vote for Mr. Bungle That's very true. This has been the toughest matchup for me so far, but I had to give it to FNM. I don't think there's a song by them I don't like, and they're so underappreciated.

  4. it's too bad more people don't listen to Yes. Great stuff, but due to U2's extreme popularity I don't expect this to even be close. Another tough luck draw.
  5. co-sign. i love queen though and it was tough. this 'tournament' is funny. 'just pseudo-political rock'? seriously? edit: as sure as i am that queen has a great live show is as sure as i am that you never had the chance to see rage. I had the chance, I just never took the offer. Not interested. The Zach's voice just doesn't do it for me at all. And yes, seriously pseudo-political rap/rock.
  6. If they had quit after Pablo Honey, I'd agree with you. However, I'm not a big fan of Thom Yorke whining over white noise. Then you clearly haven't listened to a single note of The Bends, OK Computer , Amnesiac or Hail to the Thief I've actually listened to every note of those albums. A group of my friends are HUGE Radiohead fans (i.e. drug users), and I've had to endure more than my share of their new stuff. Some of it's really good, but it's making it through the 40 minutes of swirly noises and guitar effects before you get to the real meat of the rock. Plus dude, it's CCR. You can't not tap your foot to those guys.
  7. why, which side are you on? btw, this is one of my favorite "Apples vs. Oranges" 1st round matchups. Queen and it isn't even close. Freddie Mercury is arguably the greatest rock singer of all time. Couple that with the fact that they never made a bad album, and their live show was always amazing... wow. Rage was just pseudo-political rap/rock.

  9. How in the hell is this so close?
  10. Voted for Dream Theater because Mike Portnoy is the man.
  11. http://tampabay.devilrays.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mediacenter/index.jsp?c_id=tb Click on "Top Plays" for today's game. That's awesome!
  12. Seconded. Crue being a 16 seed is so wrong, but I'll do my part to right the injustice.
  13. I say he picks up a bunch of high obp guys without paying any attention to the importance of slg or avg. Nothin' but walks and strikeouts in 07!
  14. Here's my idea - trade Aram and others for Arod. Talk Aram into triggering his out clause in his contract and resign with the Cubs next year. Eh? Eh?
  15. Jacque's power is to left, so he likely wouldn't benefit from the short porch in right.
  16. Between Pagan, Murton, Nevin, and Bynum (when he returns) the corners are covered.
  17. It was Darren's fault. He insisted that he be Yoshi.
  18. Can you put that in code so it's readable?
  19. 2 blown calls that really make a big difference in this game.
  20. Dusty obviously doesn't care. He should be out there tearing that ump a new one.
  21. In my MVP 2006 game I traded Jacque and Glendon for him, and he's the leading MVP candidate for me right now. Back to reality - I love Bobby Abreu. Granted he is on the down side of his career, he's still better than most options.
