    That's pretty much Isringhausen's MO, too. The thing is, he hasn't blown a save yet to my knowledge. He's due. He's looked pretty good this year. illiniguy has dibs on Taguchi, but Isringhausen is all yours. I hear he only comes as a "package deal" with Edmonds. ](*,)

    Agreed. But I think you're looking at it wrong. If you move Theriot to SS, DeRosa can go back to 2B, and Murton in RF. So it's not just the upgrade from Izturis to Theriot... it's Izturis to Murton. Side note: I love Floyd in the #2 spot. Much better than Jacque there.

    But if what you've been saying is true, that Aramis swings at every breaking ball with two strikes, no matter the locations... surely opposing managers would have the good sense to feed him nothing but breaking balls out of the zone with two strikes.

    Four fractured vertebrae. He might never walk again. Dude. Don't. Just don't. I always feel it's less likely to happen if I joke about it. I know there's no rational explanation for that, but damned if I'm not gonna keep it up.

    If you're talking about Aramis, not that many You must be joking. Aramis swings at just about every breaking ball on 2 strike counts, no matter what the location is. http://www.fangraphs.com/graphs.aspx?playerid=1002&position=3B&page=4&type=full You can check BB% and BB/K if you would like too. Doesn't matter whether he K's or not, he still will swing at bad 2 strike pitches and if he happens to make contact its usually weak and in the infield. Doubt you have stats for that. I could find them, but something tells me you wouldn't pay attention to them anways if they proved you wrong.

    i don't care what anyone says, i'll always root for sammy. he was out there putting on a show for the fans every day. Sammy was there for us Cubs fans when nobody else was... Real Cubs fans should be there for him now.

    And yet we still aren't going to score many runs.... Which is pathetic, Redman is literally a BP pitcher, even at full speed. Everybody seems to be forgetting that Redman was an all star as recently as last year. Dude is a freakin stud pitcher.
