  1. Damn. How many times are our opponents gonna run into each other but not drop the ball?
  2. I only think there are two situations where the wave is appropriate: 1) The crowd is so angry with their team that they do the wave as a sarcastic way of ripping the team (seen this done twice). 2) Wisconsin football games between the first and second quarters. 3) Waving to flag the beer vendor down.
  3. A rookie? 2 IP, 1 H, 2K The hit will be the second batter in his second inning. A blooper, at that.
  4. I'm surprised Wuertz even used a whole pitch there. He coulda gotten Eckstein on half a pitch.
  5. I missed it; who was up in the pen?
  6. I've done plenty of stupid things and come out unscathed. That doesn't mean it was a good idea to begin with. See: any time Neifi Perez ever did anything good. I was talking about my drunken exploits, not Hendry's.

  8. DeRosa's career splits: vs. RHP .261/.318/.376 vs. LHP .304/.364/.494
  9. Why on earth would LaRussa bring in a lefty to face DeRosa?
  10. Maybe. But I'm sure we'd let you hang out here if you physically assaulted him.
  11. Pitch counts through 5: Reyes - 89 Marquis - 75
  12. He is up to 89 pitches though... Probably one more inning and then we make it into the bullpen. At which point we spend more time watching relievers make their warm up tosses than them actually pitching.
  13. Bob Brenley really seems to hate numbers he doesn't understand.
  14. EXCELLENT! Made with Dutch People? Soilent Green is people!
  15. Yup, all that hustle let him get around the bases about three times faster than that slacker Aramis.
  16. Are you serious??? Dude, didn't I show you earlier that Cedeno was a much worse SS in the minors than Theriot was? I've seen Cedeno make that play a few times this year-that kind of ball is when he usually does his little spin move. Ok yah, I agree Cedeno has more range, but Theriot's defense isn't nearly the liability people are making it out to be. Maybe not, but that's 3 plays already tonight where a SS with more range makes plays. Theriot needs to improve upon that if he intends to stick there. That's three plays where SS with more range might make plays.
