Why isn't Colorado getting in on the Brian Roberts action? Seems simple to me: Baltimore receives Ian Stewart and Franklin Morales Colorado gets Brian Roberts Colorado increases their chances of winning the NL West, Baltimore gets a couple of key pieces to their rebuilding project. If I'm the Rockies, I'd rather try to play Stewart at 2B and give Morales a spot in the rotation this year.

Ugh. Crisp hasn't been worth a damn except for 2004-2005... and he wasn't even very good then. I'd have no trouble giving up Marquis and Fuld to use Crisp as a platoon CF and bat off the bench. But if he wouldn't be happy with that role, we shouldn't be in any hurry to acquire him.
