    I'm checking out the ESPN team rankings. Cubs 6th, Cardinals 8th and Brewers 10th. Washington 5th? That ranking also makes the Cubs the worst division winner in MLB. I THINK NOT!

    According to Rotoworld, Freeman was released on February 20th. I also seem to recall he was either the first or the second official release of the offseason.

    How do you even make that trade when you have already signed not one, but two veteran QB's? Looks like Bridgewater's contract could earn as much as $15m and Josh McCown's guaranteed money sits at $6m. And then you trade 3 second rounders while swapping just three places to pick up a guy who has little chance of seeing the field in 2018? Yikes. That move probably cost Indy the opportunity to draft Chubb, but all of those picks make it worth it, I suppose. If they miss out on Chubb, I could see them trade down again. I'm convinced the Giants draft a QB or trade to someone who will. Cleveland will end up with Darnold and Chubb. I suppose I overreacted on the Trubisky trade up last year, so maybe there is a bigger silver lining to this Jets move. I'm just not really seeing it. I don't see them trading up for anything but a QB, and even then, they are looking at potentially the 3rd best QB available. This draft is a bit crazy already.

    He had the perfect name to be a lights out closer. Unfortunately, that was the only thing he had to be a lights out closer. I wish him well!

    I can see them in a holding pattern while they wait out to see who else gets cut in the coming weeks. It would be nice to improve the OLine and OLB before the draft, because I believe those are the two positions that don't have at least an average/capable starter, assuming Fuller is back.

    I don't like the Carlos Hyde move for the Browns. Barkley just seemed like a perfect complement to Duke Johnson in the backfield. Hyde got paid too much for Cleveland to draft Barkley. What the hell is Arizona doing? They picked up Sam Bradford and Mike Glennon. I don't know who was worse last year, but Arizona plans to find out.

    There is still plenty of talent that hasn't been cut yet by just about every team. I'm guessing all three of those guys are as good as gone. No need for Sims. Cooper was a bust and the draft is stocked with CB's. Wheaton wouldn't make the roster if they did keep him around.

    I think Gentry could get a look at replacing Bellamy as the 5th/ST guy. Of course, we could get a day two receiver that shakes up the back end of the WR roster. Also, I was a little surprised Gabriel has so few returns listed. 4 kickoff returns in 2014.

    Wonder if the Bears might kick the tires on Navarro Bowman? He has a history with Fangio and is another year removed from his injury. He's going on his age 30 season.

    I have no issue with Wright coming back. He just wasn't meant to be the feature receiver. If the Bears got production form Meredith and White last year, I think Wright has a much better year. I still see him as a slightly poorer man's Golden Tate III.

    Definitely signing to be a starter. He proved he was starter worthy filling in for an injured Zach Ertz down the stretch last year.

    Half a dozen suitors for Burton. Not sure how many of those teams might be looking at Burton as their feature TE, but the most recent news is the Lions are interested in him.

    I definitely like Allen Robinson. I just didn't think Pace would go after him. I'm curious what the Bears plan to do with Kevin White.

    If Darnold is there at #4, Cleveland probably still takes him. Taylor is expensive and has not proven to to be a franchise QB yet. Taylor gives Darnold a year of learning the ropes. A receiver corps of Gordon, Landry, Coleman and Njoku and then adding a running game where Barkley is the feature back and Duke Johnson or a Jerrick McKinnon free agency type add as their 3rd down receiving back could turn this into a good offense. Overall, I like what Cleveland has done here. They definitely needed a shot in the arm.

    So we get Landry and Miami gets the opportunity to trade for multiple picks minus Landry? That all feels pretty convoluted. Miami trades 1st round pick #11 and Jarvis Landry to the Bears for 1st round pick #8.

    I read where someone suggested we just swap first rounders with Miami and they send us Landry. If Landry were traded, he'd likely be worth a 3rd rounder, so in essence Miami would be tossing in a 3rd rounder to move up. Other teams might be wanting to move up to #8 to get a QB, so I think they idea isn't horrible.

    Given that the Bears already have one guy rehabbing a knee injury at the same position, I find it highly unlikely that they sign another guy with the same exact problem. I think they figure out a way to swing a deal for Landry that doesn't break the bank.

    Forte is signing a one day contract to retire as a member of the Chicago Bears.

    Mocks are all over the freakin' place. Some show the Bears taking Edmunds with the 8th pick. Others show Edmunds at the back end of the 1st round. I just saw one that shows the Bears passing on Minkah Fitzpatrick, Denzel Ward and Quentin Nelson to take Courtland Sutton with the 8th pick. Pretty sure that won't be happening. Not saying I wouldn't like Sutton with the 8th pick as much as I just don't see those 3 guys being passed over in favor of Sutton.
