Yeah I was gonna say, the best XI is one thing, but our depth has never really been to the point when where there are two or three guys behind each position that could step up and not show a noticeable drop in performance.

Innocent until proven guilty. Just ask Rogers Clemens and Rod Blagojevich. Except no one has ever made a legitimate case against Sosa except "He had muscles and hit a lot of homers and spoke Spanish in front of Congressmen!" And he's a caught cheater in an era where it was the most common form of cheating. And Joe Morgan cheated in the same way that Sammy did. You guys aren't this naive are you? Wait, don't answer that. I don't actually want to discuss this anymore. There is zero discourse left to be had on the Sosa/McGwire steroid speculation. -

They're going to try Mather and Schu. Mather would be an intriguing 2nd baseman if he can pull it off. That bat is all of a sudden a huge plus. i student taught at east peoria high school if that counts for anything. I'm sorry. I know this is as big a stretch as they come, but if Peoria : New York, then East Peoria : Jersey. -

For realz though, Mikey has already netted more than Gennaro's entire career. Obviously different competitive levels, but not THAT different. Gattuso has 14 club goals and 1 international goal. M Beezy's got 16 and 3 and can only very recently start buying beer in the US. Pavel Pardo? Michael Carrick? That ilk?

I would drive to a few weekend games, buy a kit and support the Galaxy if this happened: I think it also means Landon is gone for good regardless of whether they sign him or not. Just the mere fact they are feeling out for replacements.
