I agree that Vinny is bad right now, but it's his first year. He has room to develop a system. I'm not ready to say he's always going to be a bad coach yet. I am ready to say that the Bulls shouldn't have hired him though. He may well be the next Pat Riley, but this team needed structure, a defensive system and discipline. That sounds familiar. Maybe they should have blown out the roster, not the coach, but then Paxson would have to take culpablity. All I know is that D'Antoni would have been a long-term huge mistake, Vinny doesn't have the experience to mold a young team and Paxson has drafted terribly. I think Larry Brown should have been the hire. He'd teach the team right and step down in 3 years. Right on time to make a run in his last year with a dominant Rose and the season right after the huge FA class. I'm just bitter because the Bulls are to me, a top job in the NBA. Celtics, Lakers, Knicks and Bulls. If you're a marquee franchise with a marquee franchise rookie, you don't hire a raw coach.
