Believe it or not...while both the AL/NL are under the banner or the MLB, the two leagues are still competing with one another for fans, etc. The DH is as AL and apple pie. DH is not a stupid rule, the DH in the NL, is the stupidest thing I've heard. Where are the AL and the NL really truly competing for fans? In the Bronx? in Queens? In Baltimore? In Washington? On the Northside? On the Southside? In Oakland? In San Francisco? In Anaheim? In LA? I would have to say that geographic and familial preference would determine whether you will be an AL/NL fan, not whether or not you want to see the DH.
