    Yes, I was actually making the point that even compared to the relatively meager standards of his position, his line still looks terrible. This was in response to your post, which seemed to be trying to excuse his terrible offense by citing the positional average. The general idea is that your argument is not really persuasive.

    A number of lunatics at SOSH seem to believe that Castro is not only reasonable but plausible compensation for the Epstein hiring. I hope there are some nice meltdowns over there when the compensation is announced.

    Not only does David speak Spanish natively, he also gambles natively.

    I think watching a few pitchers, like Zambrano or Micah Owings, distinguish themselves with the bat is a lot more interesting than watching Hideki Matsui fail to OPS 700 for 585 plate appearances, but I'm not hardcore opposed to the DH. I too would prefer to see the leagues using the same rules.
