    Anyone of those would be cool, but I could do without being able to jump 4 feet or kick a ball 60 yds. What kind of 500 lbs lift are we talking about?

    I'm all about the Tigers, but put me down as a Baylor guy too. Normally I wouldn't give a fig about them, but given I went there before transferring back home to LSU I've got a special place in my heart for them.

    yes its almost funny looking Every time they showed Tom last night, my wife would pipe up with "Just looking at that guy make me look cold!! Look at him!" This while numerous other guys were in giant thermal coats and ski masks. Anyone else get the comedy of announcers constantly preaching that this is a quarterback's league and you can't make any noise without a good QB, but the last 2 NFC QB's are Eli Manning and Rex Grossman? I'm just sayin... I wonder how Tiki Barber feels right about now. Wasn't he the guy who said Eli doesn't "have it" and blah blah blah?? Oh man, excellent point. I hope he's choking on his words right now. I really liked him better when he was playing football and not talking.

    Just by reading many, many posts in the rants and social forums, that would have been my guess for many, if not most of the posters here. Not a knock, just an anecdotal observation. I'm somewhat surprised by the vote so far.

    Coming from an extemely casual hockey fan, that is quite an understatement. I've found myself watching this much more than the football games.

    Hands down, why? They haven't played anybody to indicate that they're the better team and there's the whole team speed and talent thing too. I'm not saying they won't win, they may. I don't think they will, but what makes you think they are the better team?

    I'd be elated if this happens. I long for the days when Baylor returns to being a decent football program. I'm not sure about his actual abilities as an OC, but he definitely brings an energy to a team. He's definitely worked his way up through the ranks and deserves a chance to show what he can do. I remember when he was a graduate assistant in charge of getting the tapes together. He's come along way baby!

    I know the price for something like tickets for the NCG on EBay are always going to be high, but $9,000.00 (BIN) for 2 is obscene.

    I keep reading that but for some reason I never see the 30-24 lucky win over Auburn or the 41-34 over a bad Bama team. I'll admit that it was kind of a lucky win, but if Byrd doesn't catch that ball in the endzone the clock stops on an incomplete pass and they're still in FG range. So really they probably still win that game regardless of how lucky it looks.

    I can't wait for the LSU/Ohio State matchup. You don't get to the MNC two years in a row without being badass. FWIW, LSU is a great team. They played a lot more convincingly earlier in the season when they weren't racked with injuries to key players like Dorsey, but they found ways to win and their only two losses were both in triple overtime. LSU WITH Glenn Dorsey has a much better defense than without. He makes that much of a difference. Arkansas always plays LSU to the wire and McFadden is unbelievable. That was a TOUGH loss. LSU is deep at a lot of key positions, and it should be noted that they won the SEC Championship with a QB who has only made one start in his career. I'm thinking that Dorsey, Doucet, and Matt Flynn will be ready to go for the MNC game - and LSU will be at full strength. 34-21 LSU. They won the SEC Championship because Eric AInge looked like Danny Ainge playing football. Keep hanging your hat on that if it makes you feel better. Somebody had to be there to catch the damn thing.

    Well, I'm not certain they'll beat them handily, but given that there is a month to get heathly and LSU's talent is generally thought to be about the best in the country, it all adds up to LSU being more heavily favored. All that and LSU is more than battle tested against a much tougher schedule in a tougher (maybe over-rated, but tougher nonetheless) conference.
