  1. Just got back from the LSU game. WOW, what a crazy game!!! We were EXTREMELY lucky to get that win. Lots of questionable play calling on our part to go along with some bad officiating. Oh and Jindal just barely qualifies as Indian, but good for him and hopefully our state.
  2. Yes today was a huge letdown, but I don't care how much of a "trap" game this was, LSU should not be outmuscled by UK. Obviously I'm not in the lockeroom with these guys, but the coaches have got to put a charge into the D and challenge them to come back from last week's game with the same kind of ferocity for this one. I'm sure it probably happend, but still you've got to sack up and get it done. I wasn't able to watch the game in its' entirety (I might re-watch it for more analysis later), but these are some of the reasons for tonight's outcome (in no particular order): 1. QB play (missing targets) or lack thereof (Perilloux should have played more). 2. Dropped passes. 3. Stupid penalties. 4. Not enough blitzes. 5. Play calling, particularly on the last drive. See also Perilloux's lack of playing time. 6. Defense not sucking it up.
  3. Can't wait to hear the local media jump all over Les Miles' ass (deservedly so) for that crap play calling at the end of the LSU game. Congrats to UK and not taking anything away from their win, but that was a complete BS effort on LSU's part.
  4. Honestly, I wouldn't sink a boat-load of money into an Auburn-LSU game "vacation" this year either...not after watching Auburn get beaten by Mississippi State. It could very well be a close game, but I just don't know if Auburn has truly turned the corner or not. Oh, I don't necessarily disagree them either. My point was more to the humorous fact that he and the others didn't want to come clean initially on why they were backing out.
  5. An Auburn victory over LSU in two weeks would top it for me..... :pigfly: Funny story. I've got some buddies of mine who I met when I lived in Houston that went to Auburn (some graduated from there, some didn't). Anyway, after I moved back to BR, they decided to make the AU/LSU game an annual trip, be it in BR or Auburn. Well just before or just after this season started, I got a call from the main guy asking if they could stay with me or if they needed to make reservations. Fast forward to about 2 weeks ago (actually the week before they beat Florida) and the guy calls me back and says nevermind, they decided not to come down. He didn't give me a real good reason, so I ask a few questions and he tries to play them off before finally saying something along the lines of "well, you want the truth? We decided we didn't want to waste our time and money driving down there to watch us get our asses kicked". So I called him back after they beat Florida thinking okay maybe that changed their minds and they still don't want any part of coming to Tiger Stadium. Of course I had to call them out for being a bunch of candyasses, but it gave me quite a bit of joy knowing their feelings.
  6. Just going off of those pics, I'd go with Jenna, besides I love a girl in garters, so Jenna it is. That said and without doing a GIS, I'm sure some pics could be found that would give Rashida the nod hands down. Oh and nobody here would kick either of those two out of bed for eating crackers. I call BS on anybody who says otherwise.
  7. I'll watch casually in the hopes that either the Indians or Sox win the WS. There's no option for me really in this poll.
  8. I've seen your LSU avatar, but for some reason never thought you were an actual Tiger fan. Did you go there or are you from La.? What gives, how did you become a Tiger fan? I thought vance, Adolfo and I were the only LSU fans here. Good to know there's another one here.
  9. half awful for me. at least i got LSU. DITTO! Hopefully the Bears can come up big and make it a little more tolerable.
  10. At least you've got that. I've got Notre Dame on espn360 onwards another loss. What a year. The hat trick comes tomorrow at Lambeau Field. Well, I do like ND and the Bears are my favorite NFL team, so I'm not in a much better position than you. And the way that UF is running so far, it could be a long game.
  11. Time to switch to the LSU game, at least they'll be entertaining and have a good chance of winning. I'm just going to keep up with the Cubs here.
  12. I really hope the DB get steamrolled in the next series.
  13. MOTHERF..... It's almost worth being banned. SOB!!!!
  14. Sori's got a great gun, but his defense leaves so much to be desired.
  15. DAMNIT TO HELL!!! Ram, that was way too close to take.
  16. What happend to this patience in games 1 and 2? Rocket say good bye to your fingers.
  17. I will personally rip off your fingers if that happens.
  18. I can sort of relate to OMC's experience and don't care that he tosses that type of line out there regularly, but this analogy made me LMAO. Oh and I don't give a fig about Lilly's reaction. It was a heat of the moment thing. The extended over-analysis of this event is insane.
  19. My fiance' likes the Cubs (or at least tolerates them for me), but nearly as much as I do. Unfortunately, she doesn't understand my passion (for the Cubs or Bears) and so she pulls for the other team just to mock me and bust my chops (although she really does pull for them). She likes to get me riled up, but sometimes I don't think she realizes that this approach could come back to bite her in the ass if she's not careful. Thank God, she knows when to back off. I love her, but she clearly doesn't realize how uncool this is.
