    I think football is WAY too pussified, but the punter is literally hung out dry when kicking. really? what's he hanging by? I've never noticed any wires or that punters are particularly wet. They usually don't even sweat. Are you being obtuse on purpose? The punter is usually in the air (thus the word "hung") in those situations.

    No. Okay, it's just me I guess. From what I've seen (admittedly not much lately) they've been playing pretty lackadaisically since they clinched.

    Well that game sucked. The team should be 3-0, but I did meet Orton's mother-in-law. That was kind of cool.

    IMO, this is truly some terrible football.

    Of course I like Ditka and Golic is okay, but Greenie is awful. Plug Tirico into Greenie's spot and you might have something. Although I'm not a huge fan of Tirico, that'd be an infinitely better trio than the one we have tonight. Greenie is definitely the weak link.

    I'm REALLY liking what I'm seeing so far. It almost feels like the Bears have been playing rope-a-dope this offseason and preseason. TD!!!!

    I know it's the first real game, but this is not at all the team I was expecting. An offensive touchdown sealed that relative to my expectations. Sad how little it takes, huh?
