Fortunately for me, my electricity has been out for much of the losing streak so I couldn't get upset about it. After having witnessed this loss (first game I've seen in quite some time), I'd like to voluntarily have my electricity turned off/go out/whatever. -

I think politics/world views play a part in these judgement events and given that these games are being held in China, it's not a surprise that the Chinese are catching breaks (to put it mildly) and probably won't be penalized for using 12 year olds. I've kinda believed this for a while, but go ahead and flame away.

Forgive me if it was already discussed, but did anybody see that wrestler (I forget what country and weight class) accept the bronze medal then walk off the podium before the remaining medals were distributed and toss his medal on the floor? WHAT A LOSER!!! [small rant] And, I wish more coverage was given to sports like wrestling and the weightlifting. Mabye they are and I'm just missing it. I've tried to record as much of the Olympics as possible, but the DVR is close to maxed out. Frankly, I'm tired of the Phelps story and beach volleyball. [/small rant]

Worst on TV at the moment The worst ad on TV at the moment and maybe ever, is the Olive Garden pass our plates to the left ad. Awful. that commercial is insipid. This one is painful, obnoxious, stupid, and pointless. This may be regional, but the "he went to Jared's" jewelry commercials are by far the most annoying ads airing. Nothing is worse than the fat guy jumpstarting a car w/ a dead battery after hooking up the jumper cables to his nipples and drinking an Amp energy drink. NOTHING!!!

Nah, he's always had issues in the majors when it comes to SB attempts and trying to take extra bases. I guess I just don't remember them being so glaring.
