  1. yeah, if you call that one intentional, then every foul in that situation inside of 1:30 should be called intentional.
  2. i doubt there's a spot, but oh well.
  3. my team is horrible.
  4. PS2, PS3, XBox, XBox 360, PSP, GBA, Nintendo DS No Wii? get used to it what's up with your wii hate? you're not a ps3 fanboy, are you? The Wii won't be getting a lot of titles that the Sony and Microsoft systems will. It has nothing to do with being a fanboy. This is why you should own a 360/PS3 and a Wii. i know that, but this isn't the first time he's went out of his way to be anti-wii :P
  5. PS2, PS3, XBox, XBox 360, PSP, GBA, Nintendo DS No Wii? get used to it what's up with your wii hate? you're not a ps3 fanboy, are you?
  6. i'm going to give my spot to treeman
  7. bonds: .267/.441/.535, but only 229 PAs
  8. what can this be attributed to? it's the same pitching that cedeno and blanco have faced all season, right?
  9. where does one get historical WARP3? Just curious. BP DT cards
  10. Seriously? Career .276/.340/.447/.787, 112 OPS+ doesn't exactly scream baseball legend to me, even accounting for his position. here's an excerpt from a BP article that says it better than i can: he also holds the second-best WARP3 ever (17.0, behind Babe Ruth's 18.0 in 1923).
  11. 'preciate the constant updates, raisin
  12. Clearly Shelden Williams wins. No contest. Also, don't forget Popeye Jones. And this thread weirds me out. It seems like it's mostly people just talking about their own teams, with no one really responding. Maybe it's just that I'm so used to talking about the Cubs with other people who want to talk about the Cubs on this board, I don't know. Also, the Tar Heels rule. Raisin, it's too bad we won't play in the regular season. I'd really like to see a UCLA-Carolina matchup. I kind of hate that, in order to stay competitive for the tournament, teams have to fill their schedule with powder puff games. No they don't. Ohio State played at Unc and Florida Texas A and M played both UCLA and LSU Kansas played Florida Texas played LSU Hell even Duke played a D1 school this year Gonzaga, at a "neutral site" Kentucky played UCLA (neutral), at UNC, and Memphis (neutral). 3rd highest SoS in the nation right now (Arizona and UCLA are higher). kind of strange that Kentucky is 7th in RPI and is not ranked. i guess it's because Kentucky has lost each time it played a high-caliber team. i think they'll have to beat a Tennessee or LSU before they are ranked.
  13. i guess we're even with last year's trade then :P edit: okay, this sucks:
  14. the bears will not survive their first game. MARK MY WORDS
  15. 79 receptions, 1,063 yards, 12 tds. yeah, he can't catch.
  16. Rodriguez posted the lowest WARP of his career in 2006 (5.5). Comparatively, Aramis Ramirez posted a 5.8 WARP in 2006, the highest of his career. Just shows you how good of a career Rodriguez has had to this point. I think he will rebound to 2005 levels next year.
  17. Computer projections. Not as accurate as PECOTA (which is probably the best at projecting position players) but pretty good. when are the 2006 pecota cards going to be released?
  18. no, it's a league with a bunch of my friends from home.
  19. alright, so i have trent green and david carr. i picked up jay cutler before his first start. i have good RBs (tomlinson, gore, and mcgahee) which have carried me to a 9-5 record and a 3 seed in the playoffs. green and carr have horrible matchups, and i just don't trust cutler. losman and leinart are the two best QBs available -- should i pick one of them up, or just go with green or carr?
  20. i have him in another league... loving the blocks and FG%.
  21. jim baker of BP pointed out in his article today that mcgwire is 8th all-time in terms of EqA. .366: Babe Ruth .364: Ted Williams .356: Barry Bonds .345: Lou Gehrig .343: Albert Pujols .342: Frank Thomas .341: Mickey Mantle .335: Rogers Hornsby .335: Mark McGwire that's pretty good company.
  22. Hippy? haha, that comment beats all of the gutless, choking dog comments that were made about farnsworth.
