  1. That was a long time coming, most impressive aspect was Brown finally throwing some strikes. The result? He shuts down one of the best teams.
  2. They were fantastic, wonder if the Broncos HC is on the Blackhawks’ radar.
  3. Would be great if someone beyond Tucker could square some of these Dodgers pitchers up. It's about time the Cubs laid one on these arrogant fucks.
  4. If PCA gets on base I wonder if the Dodgers will even bother with trying to keep him close. And it'd be awfully horsefeathers nice if Brown could throw horsefeathers strikes today.
  5. He’s juiced,, don’t know if he’ll get caught but, he’s cheating.
  6. Western dominant, up 2-0 on Denver after 2. Guess, the only concern for WMU is it’s only a 2 goal lead.
  7. Would have been great to sweep but, 4-2 is pretty damn good vs two quality teams. 3-3 on the upcoming road trip would be a miracle, with this bullpen, I’m not very hopeful.
  8. Haven’t looked but, is Pressly getting some bad luck on batted balls? Seems nearly every ball finds a hole of course, this probably due to the inability to get any swing and miss.
  9. Turner at 1B? Does he have good numbers vs Corbin?
  10. I know the Dodgers can do no wrong, etc. but, what makes them think Betts is a SS?
  11. I think Steele found something over the last innings vs. the Athletics, carried over into this start.
  12. Okay, is better to continue with Pressly in the hopes he’ll find bite on his slider? How many games will that cost?
  13. I rather go with the guy having plus stuff who isn’t afraid to throw strikes. Granted, Little has trouble throwing strikes, at least, he isn’t a scared nibbler who doesn’t trust his stuff.
  14. At the very least strong consideration should be given to Neely, Palencia and Little. Maybe, this completely off the wall but, I’d look at, if he has any options left, farming out Pressly and fast tracking Little. Move Hodge to the closer, Little to set up, let Pressly work out his problems in Iowa instead blowing games in the Majors. Do not understand this mentality of letting Pressly work through his problems while costing valuable wins. That’s why there’s Iowa, it’s where Pressly should be.
  15. Duke complaining about the officiating? Now that’s ironic.
  16. Thielbar has also flashed some good stuff, he might not be completely terrible.
  17. Luke Little could be one of them. Brasier or Palencia the other?
  18. May have a quality team on our hands, can the bullpen manage average? If so, 90+ wins could be well within reach. By the way was at rally all day - 501 - 50 states 1 day - was pleasantly surprised when I checked the score. Best sign I saw was “The Turd Reich” with images of the players as Hitler, Himmler, Goebbels, etc.
  19. That is, some may see Bertuzzi completely horsefeathers up the play. Not realizing Bedard created what should have been a quality scoring chance for a competent linemate.
  20. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SEld4uNTCvE&pp=0gcJCdgAo7VqN5tD - perhaps, it because of stuff such as this is why one is not encouraged by Bedard’ play. Bertuzzi, an absolute waste of a play.
  21. Bedard just terrible tonight, commits the penalty that leads to Ovechkin tying Gretzky. At least the Blackhawks didn’t give a up a hat trick to let him take the all time lead. Hard not to be discouraged by Bedard’ regression this season. I know he wasn’t put in a position to succeed very often, surrounded by garbage, a lost season. Hockey experts can we expect signs of improvement next season? Not necessarily playoff contenders but competitive and trending towards a playoff team.
  22. Very enjoyable watching and listening to the Cubs putting an end to the Padres winning streak . I say listening because the Padres crew was on MLB. Not so enjoyable watching Pressly scared to throw strikes, cannot remain the closer. Dodgers’ winning streak ends tonight.
  23. Yes, he did, once Brasier is ready to go, will he be the one to go? Don’t know if Morgan has any options left.
  24. Don’t look now but, the bullpen was spotless this series.
