  1. Does the opposition ever GIDP? Like horsefeathers ever?
  2. I'll go with K, GB and FB on 11 pitches for Lambert this inning.
  3. Given the way things have gone, is there any reason not to expect he's done for the season?
  4. Well that sucks, given what we've seen, there's a pretty good chance he'll spend much of his remaining time not playing. 2026 and 2027, great.
  5. Have to think, if the injuries keep him off the field, the Bears will be done. Don't know about the economics regarding his extension.
  6. Was rooting for Sabres, tying goal was sweet, too bad they couldn't get it done.
  7. Barring something crazy, it appears we're headed for a Colorado-Carolina final. I don't have particular rooting interest, should be fun.
  8. Article today suggesting Maton may not completely recovered from his injury. If so, at least, put him on the IL and go with a healthy body, don't care who it is, thinking someone who is healthy has far better chance at succeeding. Do not understand why the Cubs will let someone who's not 100% come back and blow games.
  9. Unfortunately, think you're correct about Steele, I think it best to write him off for 2026. Maybe, if all goes well, he'll be available sometime in 2027.
  10. Think he's heating up, big things are coming from him.
  11. Sox announcers blabbing about the Sox possible HR's but for the wind. Well, were it not for the wind Busch has, for certain 2, if not 3 today.
  12. They're all over themselves about Murakami' fast start, which had been great. However, I'll bet the league catches up to him in a big way.
  13. Regular season maybe, their formula of death by a thousand cuts doesn't work in the playoffs.
  14. For me, I would add LeMans to the list as well although, the 500 is probably more financially realistic.
  15. Always been a fan, most especially when I was kid. Use to look forward to Labor Day weekend and the Indy 500. Was wondering if you've ever attended the race in person?
  16. Believe Bregman and Seiya are starting to come out of their funks, Cubs will score many runs tonight.
  17. How far away is Thielbar? He could help with the Cubs pen improving.
  18. Nice win, don't believe the Braves are that much better than the Cubs, if at all. This series was more about the Cubs in one of their team wide slumps than it was about the Braves being so good.
  19. I don't know, he's probably a bust, after all, he was chosen by AK that alone should raise some serious doubts.
  20. Have to agree, if Peralta came with more seasons of control, probably. But, for a few months? No way.
  21. And of course, he's merely human vs. the rest of the NL Central. Appears a good deal of his big numbers vs. the Cubs are Wrigley Field driven. Well, at least from a power standpoint, 7 of his 11 career HR's vs. the Cubs at Wrigley.
  22. You mean next week? Do think he was traded to the Rangers for this weekend. Seriously though, when has that dipshit NOT hit the Cubs hard?
  23. Add Luke Little to that mix, if he could start throwing mainly strikes, it would help stabilize the bullpen.
  24. I remember that game, in the table above appears as a dominating start yet, the Cubs were crushing the ball.
