  1. Did not appear their feet got tangled up, don't know how Wright, looking back for the ball, gets off the ball like that without a push.
  2. I was predicting the big leap from Caleb this season, I still believe it's going to happen unfortunately, it probably won't be this season. Until then we'll see incremental improvement, little by little, as has been said Caleb' learning to play on schedule, trust the process, getting away from the backyard football that's served him well his whole career prior to be drafted.
  3. Santos, healthy or not, needs to be gone, keeping him puts a big limitation of FG attempts. Not everyone of them is going to come from the 30 yard line and in.
  4. Raise you're hand if you knew that somehow the Bengals we're going to recover the on-side kick. Given they way the day had gone for the special teams, it was a slam dunk they we're going to recover. Although, as many have mentioned, it was an extremely fortunate bounce for the Bengals and the Bears really did nothing wrong. Just plain dumb luck. I'm also glad Loveland was able to take it to the house, if he had been tackled immediately after the catch, they we're looking at around a 52-47 yard FG, can't count on noodle leg from there.
  5. I watched it in real time, saw something happen to his left arm, didn't realized his arm, at the elbow, was literally rotated 180 degrees in the opposite direction. Read his elbow is dislocated, sounds as if he may been very fortunate to not suffer any ligament damage.
  6. Just curious did it appear Higgins pushed the defender away on those TD catches?
  7. Loveland' GW TD was the kind of nonsense BS we've seen happen to the Bears over and over. Nice the shoe was on the other foot for a horsefeathers change.
  8. I knew Caleb would give the Bears, at least, a chance at a GW FG. Man, what a nice contrast to what we've experienced from past Bears' QB's.
  9. They were holding Sweat and Dexter all horsefeathers day, wasn't even close, didn't face the pressure and with Chase/Higgins, of course, a big day.
  10. 44 points from Caleb today, that's not bad.* *According to CBS Sports.
  11. Ha, ha, no DPI to bail you out now Bengals and Flacco, suck it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. They're definitely going to get screwed by bad officiating AGAIN.
  13. Bears are moving the ball, they'll score some points in the second half. Flacco is way overdue for an INT.
  14. Definitely a failure by Jed in the off season, at the deadline, for the Cubs, teams were putting exorbitantly high prices on any pitcher of substance.
  15. Gausman isn't exactly a scrub, it's entirely possible he shuts down the Dodgers and the Blue Jays win.
  16. Main thing with Caleb is I do not believe the game is too fast for him, there isn't a processing problem such as with Justin and Mitch. Everything else is fixable, will take some time and progress will be up and down but, it's fixable. If there was processing problems with Caleb, Ben wouldn't have picked the Bears.
  17. This doom bonery completely ignores what happens when he does play on schedule and in rhythm. When seen flashes of it in every game, Caleb and the offense are lethal during those flashes. Just need those flashes to become the norm rather than flashes.
  18. This and playing on time, trusting the process, all of the good QB's play on time and trust the process. When necessary some of them can resort to high school/sandlot ball and those are the plays everyone remembers but, on most plays, it's trusting the process and executing. Although infrequently, we've seen Caleb play on time and trust the process, when it has occurred they're pretty hard to stop.
  19. Of course, I should have clarified, solely with the bat I'd take Judge.
  20. I'd still take Judge. Has anyone looked at the numbers he put up? They make Ohtani' look pedestrian and that's saying something.
  21. Whether Maye, Daniels or whomever is better than Caleb is irrelevant. The question is will Caleb improve?
  22. Yeah, it's getting really tiresome. All we can do is look to next week, there's no reason not expect an improved offensive performance. Bears will be facing another terrible defense, there has got be an uptick in the offense, no excuses at all.
  23. I'm certain Ben isn't liking some things either though, as you said, he knows far more than any of us about what's not working and why.
  24. Isn't there clear need for pitching with swing and miss stuff? Even, if you will, a gaping hole at pitching with regards to swing and miss stuff?
