  1. By the way anyone have Foley' audio for tonight' goals?
  2. Did VS pick up the Vancouver feed tonight? Announcers seemed a lot more interested in the Canucks and of course, were more excited about their score early in the third. Nevertheless, let the media cue up all the [expletive] about the Canucks losing their composure, being better 5 on 5, etc. face it Canuck apologists the Blackhawks are better.
  3. Hawks and Canucks are it tonight.
  4. this guy is going to be huge Yet more talent for the Illini, I know many have been down on Weber but, it's my belief the guy' a good coach. Finally, with some big time talent, we'll see Weber taking the Illini on deep tourney runs.
  5. Wonder what's it's like to have a 1B and 3B who, could, uhm, hit.
  6. Worth a repost. :D And another, they started that talk shortly before the series began, all about playing like the Hawks, etc. Knew bad was going to come of it for the Canucks. Cue it up!!!! -
  7. I know Aram' going to break out of it and some pitching staffs are in for hell but, is there a chance it's going to happen soon?
  8. Not just Howard, some of things we've seen happen never happened to past Wings teams. But, you've got to consider they're not those great Wings anymore, pretty close to average team now.
  9. Wow, thought the Wings would take game 2 and now this.
  10. That's what happens when you've got a SS who can't range more than a foot to his right or left, even had he got to that ball, noodle arm would have never been able to throw Jones out.
  11. Hossa was fantastic in the third, shortly before the Versteeg goal poke checks the puck away at center leading to another Sharp chance. On the PK, takes the puck away nearly scores and leads to another scoring chance, even every one's favorite whipping boy Keith made some good plays in the 3rd.
  12. Without question the Hawks dominated this game from 3/4 of 2nd period on, if they were able to finish they'd had 5+ goals.
  13. Given how terrible he looked, I too thought we'd never see this again, it's a pleasant surprise.
  14. Pheonix was rather flat tonight and honestly they played above their heads all year and it was just a matter of time before they gave out...I am not sure that San Jose, Chicago, or Vancouver could be dominated like that even if they were flat. Question for those who watched the game...when Fiddler scored on the face-off, did that puck touch the ice or did he hit it out of the air as it was dropped? It appeared to me Fiddler timed it perfectly, as soon as the puck hit the ice he wacked it between Datsuyk and Howard' legs. The Wings were amazing last night, third period was a throw away however, by then, the Coyotes had clearly given up.
  15. Just out of curiousity has anyone checked out Predators messages boards? Are they claiming Nashville is still better than the Hawks and whinning about Hossa not being suspended? If I was a Preds fan I'd been pretty pissed about my team giving up a short handed goal and failing to capitalize on a 4 minute PP to start OT.
  16. I think the Hawks adjustments after game 3 did Nashville in, they began to make their defensemen turn the backs in the nuetral zone. More dumping and chasing instead of letting Nashville stand them up at center ice. They also began to get more traffic in front of Rinne unlike the first 3 games.
  17. I don't know about that. Rinne has been pretty good. But I have come around 100% to putting Buff back in on forward and parking him in front of the net. Yes, Hendry and Sopel are bad, but we need Buff causing trouble for Rinne more. The Hawks have been pretty easy on him though, it's hard to say he's hot.
  18. Hawks need to punch back tonight or, perhaps, do the punching. There's been too much of the Predators pushing the Hawks around and them taking it. I don't believe one can say Pekka is hot ethier truth is, he hasn't had to do much, seen every shot, no traffic in front of the net. Let's see how hot he is when he cannot see every shot.
  19. Its automatic, get runners on the corners, one out, next two K.
  20. ? He had 9 K's last night. Also; I don't agree with this move either. But your logic is flawed. You think so? How many times have we seen see Z start the game unable to throw a strike? He's come out issuing BB's before, except this time he'll have little to no margin for error.
  21. Aram has struck out more than Soriano - I'd be embrassed.
  22. The primary problem with the bullpen is no one can throw strikes, so, in response, you move Zambrano, who couldn't throw strikes if his life depended on it, to the pen. That computes.
  23. Too much extra passing, looking for the perfect goal. As Olcyzck mentioned, dump and chase, it's not pretty but, Nashviile' going to keep clogging up the nuetral zone.
