    Last night aside, the Sixers had been on fire lately, especially defensively this month. They're still on track to at least challenge for a playoff spot, and are one of 9 teams in the East actually capable of making the playoffs (I think 6 teams -- Cleveland, Detroit, Washington, Charlotte, New Jersey and Toronto -- are basically done). that's good that they're playing defense, because last year i'm pretty sure they sucked at it. evan turner has kind of been a bum this year, which isn't good since we drafted him #2 overall. i'm just hoping he ends up being a productive player rather than a complete bust. so far he hasn't shown much ability to create his own shot, which is a bad problem for a supposedly athletic guard. That's surprising, given must of OSU offense last season was Turner one on one.

    It seemed to me that once the adrenalin rush was over reality set in and Farve realized he probably should not have been playing.

    Given the manner in which the game started it turned out to be not a bad night, Farve and most importantly the Vikings get the [expletive] kicked out of them.

    He'll strategically "wait" to announce whether or he's coming back after training camp, why doesn’t the POS just say he's going to play but will not go through training camp?

    Even though he's going to be great and lead the Vikings to an impressive win, I'd sure like to see the Bears smoke that ass-hat.

    A limp-shouldered Farve somehow finding the strength to play? Not every final stand by a great player has to end in a glorius victory, I'm certain there's been a non-story book before in this situation, hasn't there? Ahh, who am I kidding, it's the Bears, Farve' going to be super human and they're going to get their asses kicked.

    Once again the Illini losing to a vastly inferior team simply because they didn't play hard, if the Illini come out, play hard and aggressively attack UIC' zone they win by at least 20.

    Why is it when one plays Duke (outside of the ACC) it must either be at a neutral site or Cameron?

    Sam Smith' suggesting the Bulls take a shot at Howard tonight, I've heard people say Howard' a dirty player. His cheap shots on Rose would seem to suggest so but, not having seen enough I wouldn't know if he's really a cheap shot artist.

    Getting here a little late but, holy [expletive], didn't think the Bears had much of shot in this one.

    Does anyone really believe the Bears will manage to split the last six games? Beyond Detroit and maybe Minnesota I don't see the Bears winning any of NE, NYJ, GB and PHI.

    LOL at those who predicted the Heat would match or eclipse the Bulls' record 72 wins. At their current 9-8 they'll have to go 63-2 just to match the Bulls, could happen but, I doubt it.

    It's a miracle Hawks actually got a point at home.

    Hawks have doubled 'em up in shots 34-17 and it's still just tied 2-2, is this team ever going win another home game?

    Yep. Their effort is just horrendous at home. 0-4 at home against the likes of the Oilers, Devils, and Jackets. We have ZERO points in those four games. They're playing in some sort of a haze, Toews just loafs in and makes Khabbi look good. Someone better give them a swift kick in ass.
