  1. Denard Robinson just might be the worst passer I've ever seen, he's far worse than JC Watts, Tony Rice or Vince Young ever were hell, the ones he completes require spectacular catches.
  2. Kaplan How about Cherington for Bush? Seems fair. 10/13/2011: Randy Bush agrees to send Brett Jackson, Trey McNutt, and Matt Szczur to the Red Sox as compensation 10/14/2011: Ben Cherington officially named New Red Sox GM 10/15/2100: Ben Cherington names Randy Bush his assistant GM. Brett Jackson breaks all of Ted Williams' records. Trey McNutt becomes the new Bob Gibson. Matt Szcur becomes the new Carl Yaztremski. Theo Epstein changes everything about the Cubs and they average 95 wins per season for 2012-2016, make the playoffs every year, and lose in the first round every year. They can have them all, throw in Quade as well.
  3. Wow, a GM who actually understands that the key to game is getting on base and quite probably will draft baseball players. No more Tyler Colvins or great athletes who swing first and ask questions later.
  4. In my opinion Angelo' got to go, I've no confidence in his ability to build a team through the draft which is what he'll have to do to turn it around.
  5. Here Come the Hawks, the mighty Blackhawks Take the attack, Yeah, and we'll back you Blackhawks You're flyin' high now, so let's wrap it up Let's go you Hawks, move off Now all look out, Here Come the Hawks, Here Come the Hawks, Here Come the Hawks, Here Come the Hawks, Here come the Hawks Here they come movin', weavin', flyin' high and throwin' spray, Blades flashin' sticks crashin' tryin' for the play, And the Blackhawks, take control, There's a shot, AND A GOAL! Here Come the Hawks, the mighty Blackhawks Take the attack, Yeah, and we'll back you Blackhawks You're flying high now, so let's wrap it up Let's go you Hawks, move off Now all look out, Here Come the Hawks Here Come the Hawks, Here Come the Hawks, Here Come the Hawks, Here come the Hawks (instrumental) Here Come the Hawks, the mighty Blackhawks Take the attack, Yeah, and we'll back you Blackhawks You're flying high now, so let's wrap it up Let's go you Hawks, move off Now all look out, Here Come the Hawks, Here Come the Hawks, Here Come the Hawks, Here Come the Hawks, Here Come the Hawks, Here Come the Hawks, Here Come the Hawks, Here Come the Hawks, Here Come the Hawks, Here Come the Hawks, Here (trails off) Yeah we get it you are white and have hockey and musical theater to fall back on. Sent from my DROID X2 using Tapatalk Just trying to help you dumbass Perhaps, trying to get at the Blackhawks being an example of well coached, young, good team that's the polar opposite of the Bears.
  6. A classic example of an aging, badly coached team making a good team look better than it is, Lions have a big dose of reality coming their way when they play the Packers. The Packers, very much un-like the Bears are a competent NFL team really, a competent NFL team would have beaten the Lions tonight.
  7. If I was a more superstitious person I would swear that the football gods are dooming the Bears never to be a good passing football team. Seriously, what the hell do we have to do? Besides surround Cutler with sufficient talent and coaching. On a more serious note, however, Cutler hasn't been nearly as bad as that article pretends he's been. He finished off 2009 strong after a horrendous start, had a good year last year, and has so far played alright this year. If people thought he would come here and become elite despite the lack of offensive talent around him then they were simply setting expectations too high. It's true that QBs like Brady and Brees seem to win regardless of their supporting cast, but Cutler isn't Brady or Brees, and he doesn't have to be for it to have been the right move to trade for him. He is still the best Bears QB since Luckman, and there is still plenty of time for him to take it to the next level, but he needs help doing that and right now he's not getting it. Cutler' not to blame at all, when you've got a GM and HC who's idea of an offensive line is to cobble together a bunch of questionable talent, along with poor to average WR's what's left to do? It's like trying to brew a Pilsner with rice and corn instead of barley, you might be able to make the attempt look like a Pilsner but, it never will be a Pilsner. The bigger problem going forward is Angelo and Smith's inability to draft couple this with an aging defense and the days of 2-14 or 3-13 are on the horizon.
  8. Here's the thing Lebron. All the people that were rooting against you...had to go back to their lives when this series was over, whether you won or lost. And your loss only makes going back to work that much better for those folks. Additionally, other NBA players with lives just as "great" as LeBron are taking great pleasure in his loss. Don't know why he's hurt or surprised at the reaction, he's either dumb or naive to not expect such a reaction after perhaps, the most obnoxoius sports related scene ever last summer.
  9. David Stern? Winner. Hilarious that the same people who cried about Rose not getting any calls don't care to notice when it happens WAY WORSE to someone they hate. You've got to be kidding, did Rose ever act like he had a brain aneurysm, fall to the ground, get the call, pop up and show up the officiating simply because someone got near him? I say karma is a bitch.
  10. Could it be as easy as getting Rose someone else the opposition has to guard? I'm convinced if the Bulls had a Jamal Crawford they'd beaten Miami, the Heat wouldn't have been able to completely ignore the SG. They wouldn't have been to double team Rose with Wade and James nor sag into the paint to cut off Rose' paths to the hoop.
  11. I'd like to see the NBA come up with a version of an embelleshment foul such as the NHL' embelleshment penalty. I know Michael got calls but, I don't remember him acting or being as obnoxious as Wade and James.
  12. Better flop, that or when Boozer "elbowed" Bosh? Didn't Boozer draw a flagrant foul on the play? If so its Bosh.
  13. Karma has a way of coming back to bit you in the ass LeDick, wouldn't be surprised if someone, say, Dirk pulled the same acting job and got a foul in Finals - who know's might even be costly.
  14. Rooting hard for the Briuns, for no particular reason I just don't like Tampon Bay, Bruins have been carrying the play thus far, out them 19 - 9.
  15. Great point. That's the fun of the playoffs though. You are desperate, they are desperate, and they are pulling out all the stops to ensure your season ends, and you are pulling out all the stops to ensure their season ends. As far as hating that we are falling to the Heat. Yeah it sucks. I hate the Heat too. It hurts to know they are probably going to win a title and we could have stopped them. But after watching the first 4 games of this series, do you think we were really coming into the series equipped to stop them? I'd be a lot more heart broken if we outplayed them every game and still lost because of some fluke occurances happening or something. But that didn't happen. We just plain were beaten down the stretch of 3 straight games. We can play with the Heat for 43 minutes but not 48. So just let the pain linger and hope we can respond last year. I simply don't buy everyone the saying that this is the one year the Heat could get beaten. Nor do I, if the Bulls can a legitimate SG to pair with Rose they'll beat the Heat.
  16. The Heat played well defensively however, when the Bulls don't have a legitimate SG and the Heat can basically ignore Korver, Bogans and Brewer its really not that hard to look good on defense. Give the Bulls a Jamal Crawford or OJ Mayo at the SG and I don't think the Heat are so "great" defensively. In fact, with a SG the Heat have to pay attention to I think the Bulls win 6 possibly 5. I can take the Bulls losing but, when your losing to arrogant mother-f***king d**ks like Wade and James its tougher to accept.
  17. Nor do I, if I had a size and bulk he has and Wade was between me and the hoop I'd bury Wade while going up for a dunk.
  18. Stoda at CBS Sports writes as if the Bulls shouldn't bother showing up tonight - http://www.cbssports.com/nba/story/15079722/with-emergence-of-haslem-heat-improve-odds-of-beating-bulls
  19. The Bulls owned the boards again last night, over the series(season + playoffs) they've destroyed the Heat on the boards. They've also owned the bench matchup as well, no matter what the Heat do, these two factors probably aren't going to change. I think it boils down to the Bulls starting 5 hanging a little less to even with Wade, James and Bosh. If so, the rebounding and bench are going to push the Bulls ahead everytime.
  20. The Heat have improved no doubt and maybe it makes sense they'll be favored. But, how much of they're "improved" play may be attributed to the fact in playing the Celtics, they were facing an old, tried, broken team? Didn't the Celtcs play with the lead most of series only to wear out at the end of the game? Game 5 was a prime example.
  21. He definitely has, noticed the Bulls forced him into some bad shots and plays in fourth however.
  22. Hawks have the edge offensively but, the Bulls have the edge on the boards and defensively, fortunately, it seems the later two lead to more playoff wins.
  23. They just may pull it off, betcha a penny the Hawks finish ahead of them next season. I dont like Detroits chances of being better then the Hawks next year, but to be fair I will go ahead and bet that penny. A penny it is then.
  24. Know what you mean, I think we'll have to grin and bear it this season maybe even next. But, and I know it sounds like a broken record, there's better times ahead. Before long we'll see Jackson, Vitters, Campana might pan out, to team up with Castro, Soto...
  25. From an Atlanta point of view that may have been as frustrating as that [expletive] oaf' success tonight. There's one infinitely big difference though, Taj can actually play basketball.
