  1. He didn't get the calls Skenes is getting and hung sliders that even a ****** Pirates lineup is going to hit. Tell you what, I'd rather look at the LSU gymnast than that sleepy-eyed horsefeathers.
  2. Running on this guy is pretty good strategy hopefully, Morel is OK.
  3. I saw Almonte to the IL and Cuas called up, what the horsefeathers? Couldn't go with Little or Hodge?
  4. By the way, Mastrobuoni is working on an o'fer, I honestly believe he hasn't even come close to getting a hit thus far.
  5. I believe it effectively is an 8 man lineup with Mastrobuoni in the sense that he's an automatic out and the Pirates do not have to be concerned with him.
  6. Is it a good idea to take to draft a goalie nearly draft? I know they drafted one last year, was thinking it's not a bad idea to spend at one pick on another goalie.
  7. Watching King just destroying the Dodgers, 5 IP, 1 H, 2 BB, 9 K
  8. Brown's stuff is arguably as good as Jones, one could say Brown was better tonight.
  9. I know the whole Summer remains and the Cubs have a pretty good chance to be a a playoff team. But, damn, I wish we could fast forward to the Fall, there's an excellent chance the Bears, for the first time in a long time, may have a real NFL offense, it's like a Haley' Comet sighting. Can't wait...
  10. When will Cassie be an option? If he is, would DH be the spot?
  11. I'm going to go out on a limb and say if walk 9 Cubs they'll score at least one run.
  12. At least the Brewers lost, so another game off the calendar with no ground lost.
  13. I've had my share of Arraez, two hits, with average EV around 80 mph, talk about slappy.
  14. Mastrobuoni, like Mervis, is a AAAA player.
  15. And, of course, he calls a strike on a border line pitch to Hoerner.
  16. Today's bold prediction - Mastrobuoni gets his first hit of the season.
  17. I'll give him this his name is awesome, from Baseball Reference - Jurickson Barthelomeus Profar - nevertheless, did not know he was a highly regarded prospect. Quick glance at the numbers would suggests he's not very good.
  18. Glad they returned the favor and beat those fucks in ball-breaking fashion. Profar? Seriously? That clown has a WAR of 1.3 already, his career best is 3.0 in 2022, he's giving me Tony Womack vibes. Mediocre to bad player having a career or hot year although, I don't think Profar is going to sustain this current success.
  19. Another one tonight, go Stars, the lesser of two evils.
  20. Seconded, was rooting for the Leafs, thought for second Pastrnak may have been offsides but, wasn't close. Would have been hilarious had they lost when that puck bounced off Wotherspoon, would have been very much deserved and absolutely fitting.
  21. On the whole they haven't been great, lately, though, they made some good pitches inducing soft contact that's finding holes. We all know that's randomness of baseball and will even out over the course of season. It's just frustrating to watch the Brewers win a game with a bunch of dribblers and bloops, it'll come around and will happen to the Brewers as well. Who knows, maybe, it'll be a key moment late in season costing them the division.
  22. Ross is nothing special, yet, all of Mervis' swings were feeble and pathetic.
  23. Okay, how two runs? Is that asking too much?
  24. Any kind of a run here would be acceptable.
  25. Key is getting that first out without the runner advancing.
