  1. I know exactly what's going to happen next week: Caleb will play well, 2-3 TD passes, they'll build a double digit lead with about 5 minutes left in the game. And proceed to lose because dick-less, in plus territory, 2:30 left on the clock, fourth and inches, chooses to punt, instead trying to ice the game by getting a first down.
  2. if Eberflus says - "Ya know what? horsefeathers them, lets get as many yards possible in two plays and try to make the FG attempt much easier or even a TD, go Caleb." - I'm certain we'd be talking about a Bears victory today.
  3. The truly frustrated part is it's a lack of aggression. a lack of aggression from a coach who has to know by now he's fighting for his job. Just don't understand his stubbornness and refusal to be aggressive, it'll end with his firing.
  4. Maybe the group of players who approach Poles about Waldron could do the same about Eberflus today. They've got to fed up with Eberflus finding ways to lose winnable games by now.
  5. Complete nonsense if you find the right guy to be HC.
  6. Way too conservative on defense as well, you could see it yesterday, time and time again they rushed four on obvious passing downs. Giving, Love, a guy who will make mistakes under pressure all kinds of time.
  7. How many games does Eberflus have to piss away before the Bears come to the conclusion the light bulb is never going to come on for this clown? He's a fair to poor DC, that's all he'll ever be, his ceiling. They've already broken the seal on their "noble" not in-season firing of coaches with Waldron. Do the team, the fan base, hell, the NFL a favor and show Eberflus the door.
  8. They could do a lot worse than firing Eberflus into the sun and giving the reins to Thomas Brown for the remainder of the season.
  9. I'm not entirely convinced Eberflus was Poles' choice.
  10. I wonder how many teams have had an in-game OL injury as many times as the Bears? What has been, 3, 4 consecutive games?
  11. Eberflus cowardice shows up on the defensive side as well, there was not an effort to go after Love with more blitzes. When pressured Love will throw the ball up for grabs, some call it putting the ball where his receivers can make a play, sometimes, but, there's also a good deal of just throwing and hoping for the best. It's time to fire Eberflus, you gain nothing by keeping him as a lame duck for the remaining games. I'm certain, given the chance, Caleb would have got them closer and Santos having to LD longer kicks wouldn't have been an issue. It's also time to draft a kicker with a big leg.
  12. Well, you know, astronauts and rocket surgery and all, it's probably since 2021 or thereabouts. Saw the correction above, I was close, 2020.
  13. We just saw it's possible to close the gap in QB play between the Bears and Packers, have to work on the coaching gap next season. Really, not so much a coaching gap as it is to find a competent head coach, the Bears aren't devoid of talent and will add more next year. It's they're devoid of anything resembling good coaching.
  14. Again, this is something Eberflus should know, little details, Eberflus misses them every time. It's the Packers, your conservative approach has never worked, if there was ever a time to be aggressive and try to get closer that was it.
  15. I think it more on Santos kicking the ball low than anything GB did, which, of course falls on Eberflus. Everyone knows 46 yards isn't a chip shot for Santos yet, no attempt was made to get closer, that's on dumb ass.
  16. Well, at least, Caleb didn't horsefeathers his paints today like every other Bears QB vs. the Packers for last 30 years. Really, a loss is much better in the long run, had the Bears won, it might have been enough of an excuse to retain Eberflus.
  17. How about, I don't know, a sack?
  18. WTF a GB QB actually missing a throw against the Bears? Cross that off the bucket list.
  19. Have the Bears had an unblocked pass rusher all horsefeathers season?
  20. I'm so over seeing Caleb dirt/miss every other horsefeathers throw.
  21. Scored with little to no resistance, and, of course, the Bears won't even manage a first down on their possession. Welcome to horsefeathers show.
  22. How about a change of pace for this Packers game? Win or lose, the Bears QB resembles some sort of competence? Where in the NFL rule book is written Bears' QB's have to horsefeathers their pants every time they face the Packers?
  23. He's probably done, feel bad for the guy.
  24. Daniels is way overdue for a rookie QB bad game, it's going to happen at some time.
  25. He'll play a quarter or so, before he falls and breaks his leg, or coccyx, or something. By the way, very optimistic in thinking the Bears are going to score not just one but two TDs.
